  We stayed for a week in October, except for the rainy days everything else was close to perfect. Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive. When deciding on which room to have, I was asked if I wanted to see them and the chap was there within seconds, up to the 5th & 7th floors & back to reception in minutes.   Everything worked - The location,of The Sutton Place was excellent for the area of Vancouver we wanted to visit. The staff were extremely professional and helpful and the overall quality of the hotel would compete easily with top ranking hotels anywhere.
