The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat. The view was spectacular from our room, overlooking the bay. The location is unbeatable in my opinion, right in the little town of Tofino, close to the water. Grocery store, bakery, gallery, wharf, nice restaurant, all within a block. A Saturday public market two blocks away. Amazing. There is a lounge area for preparing food which allows guests to interact if desired and feel connected to the others in the hotel. Location is unbeatable for what we wanted!

The location is superb - looking out onto the ocean - and the lodge has its own private beach. Relaxing in the large, supremely comfortable lounge looking out on the beautiful scene ( as the rain poured down!) with endless supplies of coffee or tea was a real treat and a memorable one.

The location is good, I could hear the sound of waves and sea birds and see the ocean in the room. The style of this accomodation is resort not hotel( this is normal in Tofino). Everything you need is there. The room is very cozy and clean. The bathroom looks very new. The whole place is very spacious for a couple. It would be perfect for longer stay as there's full kitchen in the suite and washing machine and drier which was very handy after being in the rain.
