Budget friendly. The new owners are so lovely, we chatted with Colin for a good hour. The place is absolute value for money! It's an older place, but the amenities were fine. Considering how much you pay for accommodation in Tofino, this was a real bargain - on the Main Street, everything in walking distance, while at the same time being fairly secluded with the romance of the ocean. We took the corner studio with its own provate balcony overlooking the ocean - absolutely breathtaking views :).
all reviews » The location is good, I could hear the sound of waves and sea birds and see the ocean in the room. The style of this accomodation is resort not hotel( this is normal in Tofino). Every cabins are separated each other. The one building has 6 rooms. That was so quiet. The room was small but cozy. The staff are so kind and friendly, they helped me join some activities. - Ocean view with Wildlife - Friendly care takers and front desk staff, very helpful and provided outstanding dining recommendations. - Location, - Comfortable, Clean Beds, Towels, Toiletries - Nice grass outside for dogs and lounging - close to grocery store. We had the two bedroom suite that was part of the main building. The views were beautiful and the cottages down the hill had great decks with amazing views. Proprietors were friendly and helpful, location perfect for walking. The scenery from the balcony in suite 106 was awesome. Listening to the waves gently lap the shore during the night, as well as the peace and quiet was extremely relaxing, after driving the twisty highway from Nanaimo. Lol. The view was magnificent - great comfortable bed with view of the ocean from the bed - perfect. Friendly staff and accommodating. I thoroughly enjoyed my overnight here and would come back again if I visited Tofino. The service was great, everything spotless clean, room with oceanview, e.g. to watch sunsets, perfect location. Within walking distance from shops and restaurants. Location, location, location!! Nice room right on the ocean with a balcony! Next time will reserve a cabin. The view is amazing!. The resort is situated on a beautiful cove overlooking the water. The rooms are very rustic but comfortable. Able to walk up town and visit all of the interesting shops on main street. Collin + Judy & staff, view, BBQ & crab pot option, info sheet on the desk in the rooms, feather pillows. Location was very good - excellent view etc. There was a great view. Deck with a great view. The view from the room was fantastic!. It was close to town. It's far from the famous places for example long beach or pacific lim national park. There is Tofino bus but it doesn't go there. If you want to go any famous places you'd better rent a car. This accomodation locates right on the tip of the peninsula. - Room was cold and unwelcoming when unpacking, turned heat up and it was fine - fridge did not work and there were towels to soak up the defrost - Couch and lounging blanket was dirty with human hair but still comfortable - Very loud from other guests in other rooms, paper thin walls however turn the TV and the sounds diminish. Amenities in the room were getting a little tired. CRT TV, very old fridge and stove. Property in general needs some maintenance $$. I really can't think of any part of your establishment or Tafino in general that I did not like. In fact we intend to return at some time, and stay for more than just one night. There wasn't anything I didn't like, only that the kettle plug did not work to make a cup of tea, and I had put food in the fridge and found out in the morning that it was not working. Nothing. No wi fi available in our unit, even though this was advertised. Bathroom sink I realize it's almost impossible and if I'd been asleep earlier it would have been fine but the noise from above - snoring walking about throughout the night - less than ideal. wifi wasn't the best. I did not like waking up to rain and fog every morning, but I guess this is the norm there. Some sunshine late in the afternoon. Was not prepared for the wet weather everyday. Broken lights, dirty windows, re-using the same duvet for every room without washing them in between stays only changing the sheets, not vaccumed, hairs in the bathtub, cigarette burn in our duvet, staff smoking openly in front of guests (I'm allergic to smoke so it highly bothered me). Very shabby furnishings - in need of a makeover. I don't think the accommodations were even close to description given on the site. Also think it was very overpriced. Huge walk from car parking to room-over 100 yards and up and down at a steep angle with slippery boards -almost a hazard'. Sparse furniture in a small room and small bathroom. very tired looking room and good do with a dam good clean. It was run down and in need of some renovations.
