    We liked the room with the balcony with the view over the street, with the atmosphere and cafés. The nice little sitting room downstairs with free coffee and a piece of chocolate, was great.     Located very close to Berri uqam subway station. The room was clean and looked good. Continental breakfast (croissants, yoghurt, juice) was included. The owner provided a very good map of Montreal and gave detailed instructions re public transport, sightseeing, etc. There is a fridge in the room. Wi fi works well. Overall, excellent value for money and a very pleasant place. - I stayed in an apartment around the corner from Hotel Stay (part of owner's property as well). Location was great-not far from Park De La Fontaine-wonderful running/walking/biking paths there surrounded by trees. Two minute walk to Metro station. Great customer service! Staff was very helpful though not always available.

    Quebec is such a lovely old city, and staying in this charming B&B complemented the old-world atmosphere perfectly! Stepping inside the hotel, and on into the room, is like taking a step back in time, only with all modern-day comforts provided. Filled with Victoriana. Room was quite small with small bathroom, t.v., etc. But furnishings really interesting. Everything spotlessly clean and room comfortable. Very good and ample continental breakfast. Location very good for Dufferin Terrace, rue St. Louis and shops, restaurants, etc. They recommended Cafe de la Paix, 5 minutes' walk, very good. Language no problem. Parking is offsite, 2-minute walk away.

    Location! The hotel is in the old city and near the train station. Everything is within walking distance. The innkeeper is very helpful and makes a good breakfast! The hotel is old but with character. - Very helpful manager, humorous and bit eccentric but spent lots of time explaining where to go and how to get there.     We really enjoyed the fact that the bed and breakfast was nestled in the woods. It was very peaceful. It reminded us of home. We enjoyed taking a nice long walk. There was a beautiful flowing brook right in front of the hotel. The interior was truly impressive, all of the wood work.     Clean and very comfortable. The cabin is equipped with a kitchen where we can cook life lobsters. The site is surrounded by great ocean view. We see the sun set in the front and the sun rise from the back just by looking through the windows in the front or in the back. A great place to stay with a family since a cabin can take 6 persons. - If... what people say » you kind of want to rough it, this is a great place. So quiet. We had one double, one single bed, stand up shower, lots of pots & pans, thick towels, deck with outside chairs and picnic table, fire ring and a morning wake-up crow. There also was a small family of ground hogs in back that served as our entertainment.

    Although it was an older motel, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. If we had had more time, we would of made use of the pool or private lake which is included in your stay. I would stay here again. - Close to St Sauveur town and ski slopes

    The staff were bilingual and it was easy to communicate in English, even though I wanted to practice my French. It was in a relatively good location just outside of the Old City and basically everything I wanted was within walking distance (did not take a cab or transit at all). The room prices were excellent for the amenities and the rooms seemed... what people say » like they had been recently updated...very nice! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the shower head was large and great for a hot shower aft - Beautifully appointed rooms and amenities. Wonderfully friendly bilingual staff. Across street, market specialising in local produce and products - we went in fall and all the fruits and vegetables were perfect. The local eateries were excellent. The Quebecois, like the French, KNOW how to eat, and they seemed always to ensure that when selling you any product, they gave you all the info you needed to ensure the best experience when eating or drinking it.
