  The Chimo Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were in Ottawa to attend our grand daughter's hockey tournament. The staff seemed to put us on a floor that didn't have hockey groups on the same floor. Therefore it was quiet at night for sleeping. Thank You Chimo - Upon check in, we were served by a fella who was covering a break. He had several lines ringing, and 3 check ins in front of him. He did a wonderful job in spite of these obstacles. He was very apologetic! Obviously experienced at multi tasking and serving the public. Well done!

  I liked the location. We were going out to Estaire so it was easy to visit a restaurant and get out of town. I appreciated having a non- smoking room pet room. In the past we non-smokers with pets were forced to take smoker rooms. When our pet picked up some burs on his chin, the front desk person lent me the front desk scissors to cut out the bur... what people say » s. - The bed was so comfortable and the room was very clean and homey.. really impressed with it..slept so well..usually have a difficult time sleeping the first night..thankyou..Front desk staff was very accommodating. let us check in early as we had a wedding to attend.. thank you again.

  I have stayed here several times and ended up staying here 9 days on this visit. All members of the staff are professional, friendly and work hard to make their guests feel valueed. The hotel is 3 kms from the Falls,overlooking the river and nicely removed from all the noise of Clifton Hills, yet just a nice walk away. The rooms are modern, clean... what people say » and very comfortable but do not have a mini-fridge or micro-oven. Parking is free, as is WiFi and the hotel offers a very good hot complimentary brea - 4th floor king rooms are spacious, very clean (Hampton bedding change policy is excellent), modern and well-appointed with small fridge, mirowave, free WiFi and good desk space. Ample free parking is provided and the complimentary hot buffet offers a good range of food. Coffee is always available. The WeGo public transit system stops outside the front door so you can leave your car and take a bus to the Falls, if you don't want to walk (about 30 minutes).

Most important is a very professional - the room was comfortable and clean. the pool was excellent. The exercise room was also quite good. The cleaning staff in particular were very considerate. I found it difficult to drive to downtown from Markham. I would like to return even for downtown activities but may have to reconsider that. But for nearby activities this is a fine choice. I hope the price doesn't change.
