  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   Price was very good, room was immaculate clean, suite was quiet. No traffic noise, sounds from other suites minimal. Bed was super-comfortable. Did not use the in-room coffee, but free coffee, juice, fruit and muffins available in the office in the morning.   I liked the layout of the room. The room was clean. I liked the bed. It was just right - not too firm, not too soft. I liked that there wasn't an old bedspread on top. I liked the continental breakfast downstairs. I liked how clean the area was and the simple choices. The coffee was really good. I liked the airport shuttle service and the elderly ... what people say » man that drove me. - We only stayed at this hotel for only a few hours (arrived late and had to take an early flight the next morning) for a flight connection. The only front staff that was working at that time was extremely friendly and helpful. The 5:30 AM continental breakfast and courtesy shuttle to the airport were much appreciated.

  I like that it was centrally located and close to the hotel my where my fellow travelers were staying. Also I noticed it was on a city bus route plus taxis were located close by. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and quiet despite being on the street side. Elevator was a plus. We stayed overnight whilst taking the Via train from Prince George to Jasper. We could walk there from the station which was just as well as there were not taxis. Staff friendly, we arrived around 10.00 pm and were directed to a nice sports bar next door for something to eat and drink. It was the cheapest hotel of our trip.

  Had a good experience staying here. The location could have been closer to downtown but most of the time it was actually nice to have a place away from the downtown scene once in a while. The room itself wasn't incredibly huge but was clean and had a comfy bed. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel. - Room was very comfortable, signs the hotel is renovating public spaces.   The front desk employee was friendly and upgraded our room because one was available. I think the room was probably more comfortable for my aging mother. I also like the desk with a chair to sit comfortably at and read or work with a computer. - Nice place, big clean rooms, close to down town and close to ferry.
