  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   Price was very good, room was immaculate clean, suite was quiet. No traffic noise, sounds from other suites minimal. Bed was super-comfortable. Did not use the in-room coffee, but free coffee, juice, fruit and muffins available in the office in the morning.   I liked the layout of the room. The room was clean. I liked the bed. It was just right - not too firm, not too soft. I liked that there wasn't an old bedspread on top. I liked the continental breakfast downstairs. I liked how clean the area was and the simple choices. The coffee was really good. The only front staff that was working at that time was extremely friendly and helpful. The 5:30 AM continental breakfast and courtesy shuttle to the airport were much appreciated.

  I like that it was centrally located and close to the hotel my where my fellow travelers were staying. Also I noticed it was on a city bus route plus taxis were located close by. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Room was clean and quiet despite being on the street side. Elevator was a plus.   Location is excellent, right across the street from the lake and located near some great restaurant. Downtown Penticton is a very short drive away (2min) or a beautiful 15 min walk. Rooms are clean and kitchenette could be handy for longer stay. Both me and my girlfriend would stay here again in a heat beat and - We staying for three nights in a room with a kitchenette. The staff were very accommodating...moved our elderly friends who were staying in a second floor room to a first floor room when they saw them having trouble negotiating the stairs. Room was clean...well stocked with dishes, etc. A little noisy because of the courtyard arrangement but certainly not a bother. I would certainly recommend this motel...good value for the money.
