  River Wynde Executive Bed & Breakfast is simply the best Bed & Breakfast I have ever stayed at. The breakfast is amazing, the rooms are tastefully decorated, very cozy and very clean. It is a perfect place to relax in the city. The Kensington location is fantastic.   We love what Douglas Fir has to offer our two Granddaughters in terms of facilities(the pool, hot tub and play park). We had a one bedroom chalet which was perfect for us and Douglas Fir provided a playpen and highchair, which meant we did not have to pack them in the car. We love being able to take the bus for free, and we love the friendly staf... what people say » f, who always smile and give a warm and friendly greeting, and that includes all the staff we met either indoors or outdoors. We love seeing the wildl - The Waterslides and Indoor Playground were BIG hits with the kids!! The fireplace and free wood were most welcome. The surprisingly convenient and well-stocked store on site was also a welcome convenience. The full kitchen and nearby parking were very handy. The location is far enough from town that it is quiet at night, but a close bus ride, short drive, or half hour walk away from the Resort.

  The facilites were fabuluous and the staff was very accomodating. The location was perfect since our trip centered around Banff and Lake Louise. Staying in Canmore was more afforadble and allowed us to sightsee a bit more on the way to our destinations. - The guest lounge that has big TV and sofas, wii for playing.

  The location, the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, there was a DVD player in our room, the kitchenette was well furnished. They even delivered a copy of the bill directly to our room for review, so we only needed to stop at the front desk for a minute. - Everything was great. While the rooms are on the small side, it perfectly suited my needs. The reception staff were phenomenal. So courteous and helpful.   Loved the high ceilings. The bed was very comfortable. The bathtub was fantastic. The bath products smelled so good. Staff was very helpful (especially when I had troubles with using the room key and when I phoned requesting for another blanket and a feminine product). - We had another great stay here. The valet parking makes so much sense here,... what people say » many other hotels I could take it or leave it but here I'll take it. The rooms are of modern design and a cut above what you would expect from a downtown hotel. Definitely worth trying.
