  The hotel staff went out of their way to make our visit special. My husband made some requests because we were staying for our 44th anniversary, and the hotel staff went beyond what he requested. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as the door men open the door for you, it is like walking into another world. Everyone so helpful and polite. The Elite restaurant was fabulous. Extremely clean apartment well presented, nice environment, friendly and very helpful owners, security always around so it felt safe which helps when your abroad, great location as public transport not too far away and very close to some of the main attractions in Toronto.   Staff were very informative and helpful. Conceige desk was so very helpful and we had everything we needed on time as requested. We booked a rental car and they had it delivered exactly at the time we asked. Great location on the lake, lakeview was amazing! - The staff were couteous and thiughtful and always very helpful. Based on a few of the reviews, we were worried there might not be enough space for our group of four guys, but we were very comfortable in the apartment, between the bed and the pull-out couch. We even had a few friends over for drinks in the evening, and found that it was a nice place to entertain. Would defi - The apartment was very clean / felt like new and spacious. Beautiful view of the lake and the city airport! Kitchen was equipped to the brim. I liked the personal touch at check in with a handwritten note and complimentary chocolate... I think this would be a good place for me to stay when I come to Toronto with my family next time, since the apartment was large and comfortable.
