  I loved the experience. As a first timer in Canada and from a warm country as Ghana, the ammenities (heater and hot shower) served a great purpose.friendly reception too from host.   The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. A fantastic breakfast was cooked fresh with organic cereals made by the host. There is a puppy on premises (a mini poodle) but this made the stay more pleasant for me. The host is great company during breakfast (I travelled solo) and was a great resource for sight seeing. Rooms have flat screen televisions, modern curtains yet rustic furniture and even coiled heaters- like you would see - Lovely Victorian feel. Kind and considerate hosts. Delicious and healthy breakfasts prepared by lovely Lisa. Easy walk to Bloor Street and the subway.

Even if the rooms were not as luxurious and well appointed as they are, it would be worth staying just for the service. We used the concierge several times and their recommendations were perfect.
