  Excellent location, walking distance to a variety of stores -Urban Fare and Save-On Foods, Starbucks; 5 minute walk to a well groomed beach that has wheel chair access into the water, children's playground area, and picnic tables with grass area. We also enjoyed using the pool and the hot tub. Free internet access in the - The location was fantastic as it was within walking distance to parks, beaches, and a cute village of shops and restaurants. There was also a large shopping centre across the street with a very good grocery store. Our room was very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Tables and chairs on the terrace outside our room were a nice touch. We also enjoyed the huge outdoor pool. There was also a hot tub and an indoor pool which we did not use.

  The Dilworth Inn was a very pleasant place to stay; the rooms were lovely and clean, the pool/hot tub/sauna were fantastic, staff was always cheerful, helpful and knowledgable. We loved having the fridge and microwave in the room, plus a coffeemaker and many programs on tv to keep the kids busy when they weren't swimming.   We chose September as a quieter and cooler time for this vacation, and thought when we arrived at the Recreation Inn & Suites that we had the wrong room, as we had a beautiful queen suite with two beds, full kitchen, modern and clean.   Everything! Property was absolutely clean, with full amenities provided for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was great, particularly loved the freshly made waffles! Location was fab too, an ideal rest point for people driving from Vancouver to the Rockies. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and stay here again if we get the opportunity!   Checking in was very pleasant and we had a flight delay of 1-1.2 hrs so checked in at 11pm instead of 9:30pm Friday night. Manager was great. Room was clean.. Older but just fine bed was comfortable and there was a small kitchenette if we had wanted it. On Hwy 97 but our room was in back and very quiet. And n/s as we requested Queen bed. Also have family in the area and we are ori - Location and price were great. The necessities were provided for and since we were out and about most of the time the room was very adequate.
