We chose September as a quieter and cooler time for this vacation, and thought when we arrived at the Recreation Inn & Suites that we had the wrong room, as we had a beautiful queen suite with two beds, full kitchen, modern and clean. Wonderful place to enjoy our Kelowna touring and would recommend any time. Had trouble getting Wi-Fi connection from the rooms but staff invited us to connect at office and were more than helpful. Courtyard had trees, lawns and tables to enjoy the warm weather.

The Ocanagan Lake is beautiful to look at and very refreshing to swim in. I also liked that the hotel was quiet enough for a good sleep at night, yet close enough to walk to some shops and even a Choices Market. The room was really clean and they had more than enough books aboutt he area to help with what we should do! The whole set up was really smart. Clean, quiet, reasonable price. 5 minute drive into downtown. Many restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. It was very close to our Function. And it was very Clean & Quiet! O and the Soaker Tub!. Location, location. Across from most shopping facilities and the I-Hop. Easy access. Didn't realize what a great option this was. Thank you so much!. All the pubs close early, couldn't go out for a beer after 10 pm. Also the parks all seem to close at 9 pm, which gets enforced by security staff. Seems to be a bit odd for a vacation city. Nothing. One out of three beds in the room needs updating but we just didn't use that one. :). Nothing. Ants in room was not. noisy neighbors. Pillows were too thin! And the desk clerk didn't know how to order us a shuttle to the airport - so he left a note for the night staff to do it - which didn't get seen until we called at 4:30am to confirm it's booking! (That staff quickly found us one!). Weekend room cleaning didn't clean floors or desk top of paper/crumbs/lint. Each day we hung up towels to be kept and used again as requested, but they were replaced with fresh. We tried to be eco friendly!. Coffee machine Old tvs. There is gas-station right next to hotel. we nearly froze to death heat set at 8 both nighrs when we arrived and we had booked aweek ahead.
