  We spent three nights at the R&C Santa Teresa and were very happy with our choice for romantic vacation. The room was very nice and very clean. The design of hotel is awesome. The staff is very friendly and this is valid for everybody (security, front desk, waiters, room service etc). The people from the front desk always had a smile on thei... what people say » r face and were very helpful for taxi, recomendation to order restaraunt, clubs, etc The spa is really nice, romantic and the massages are very good b - Perfect for a two-three day getaway and would work well if the beach is not an option (winter) or just to mix it up before/after a few days at the beach. The area itself is interesting and from what I gather has some cool drinking holes and restaurants. One could start and finish a book in peace here, yet 'feel Brazilian', and not feel they need to join the flock of tourists seeing the usuals in Rio. I enjoyed spending time at the bar, restaurant and spa - perfect for a day of indulgence!

  Very nice hotel. Very clean and neat!, My Room had a beaufitul view of the beach. Breakfast buffet was excellent! (hot and cold). The lobby is very pretty. The Swimingpool area in the 39th floor has a wonderful view of Copacabana, and Sugar loaf! The location is also very convenient. just cross street of the beach and many restaurants close b... what people say » y. If you want to visit Ipanema may take a taxi, walk or rent a bycicle half block from the hotel. If i go back to Rio I will stay in Windsor Atlan - Amazing views of Copacabana beach and Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado mtn. From 33rd floor corner room. (Request a high floor for best views). There is even a view of the mountains from the bathroom! Windows open so you can hear the ocean all night long... Very clean, quiet, double sinks in bathroom - marble and hardwood floors. Staff is excellent, friendly and almost all speak English.
