Breakfast was good to include in the cost of the room. Great coffee. Room 218 had the best surprise - our lovely balcony. We enjoyed wine and cheese and crackers and a good read each afternoon on our peaceful balcony. The bier garden had great food at fair prices. Parking was a plus. Didn't move the car while we were there as public transportation was so convenient. The desk clerk placed our leftover picnic meat and cheese in the kitchen refrigerator until we were ready to leave. Comfortable be.
all reviews » Rooms were really clean and comfortable, even if one had a really small bathroom. It's a bit far from the centre of the city, but there are a lot of bus and it's easy to get everywhere.Staff really kind and great breakfast!. Helga and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the rooms were spotless. That we were given clear instructions about where and when breakfast was to be had. Everything was OK, there is a nice restaurant close to the hotel. Great breakfast!. Secure parking on site, well located not too far from the old centre of Salzburg. Everything you want from a budget hotel. Very hospitable staff aswell!. Hotel Lehenerhof is "Just what you need". Since salzburg seems to be a very expensive city, this hotel had the nearest price to normal considering that for the same price you would get a 4 stars hotel in the middle of Prague for example. The breakfast was very good. The staff (2 ladies) are helpful. Plus the location of the hotel is convenient. We stayed here for 2 nights before getting to vienna. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a budget -friendly hotel. P.S. Clean rooms. How helpfull and lovely all the staff were. Would recommend if you are not over fussy and just using it whislt sightseeing or a convenient stop over. Breakfast room and food both for breakfast and their restaurant next door excellent. Receptionist was so helpful, I booked the incorrect date and she was able to give us a room without any problem, although had to pay a very high rate for this hotel. Restaruant below was quite nice. Nice building, good breakfast especially delicious cake, easy to travel by bus from hotel to city center/train station; staff is friendly and helpful. People were very friendly and helpful. It was clean and close to the city and included free parking and wifi near the reception. Authentic Austrian charm with bright yellow rooms and traditional restaurant and beer garden on site. The fact that we could not access the building until 2pm on the day of our arrival, even to just drop our bags. It was not so cheap compared to other cities we visited, but it is Austria, so it was ok for us :). nothing. Can't say I found anything I didn't like. everything was OK. We had very noise room with the view of the road and without conditioner. I wouldn't complain since I was not promised anything more than I actually got. However there was no phone in the room. Rooms that have been smoked in. In need of restoration- some had begun. Very dated, no wifi in rooms,. Check-in timing is a bit tight, hopefully can have more flexibility. That the bathroom was not separated from the room. no 24hours reception, but than again, that's not really needed. Breakfast a tad late. no mini bar. The reception person that welcome us was confuse and had a hard time with our reservation. Reception desk is not welcoming, messy. As it is the first apperance of the hotel that is not very good. A bit too loud, especially if your room overlooks the street. No Wi-Fi unless you're sitting right beside the reception; Receptionist unavailable before 10am or after 8pm Tried to charge us no show fee when their receptionist combined two separately booked nights together. Accused us of lying and hung up phone on us. Had to call them back and forth while incurring international roaming charges on our cell phones to resolve the issue. Room could be noisy at night. Weird reception entrance as it is located on next floor up. The decoration is rather old and ugly The room layout is very complicated There is no staff available after 18.00. Wifi not so fast and has not stability. The breakfirst is too simple, and no WIFI signals. Small rooms, no internet t rooms, stuff not available 24-7. noise at night near the street, too far from train station and points of interest. no ViFI in rooms. No shops/supermarkets nearby, pretty far from everywhere. Staff is friendly but not really helpful. A traditional family-run hotel that has not evolved since a few decades. Urgently needs a facelift (breakfast room!), and maybe a new generation to be in charge. Too early check out. Weak wi-fi. Smal bathroom. The hotel was closed (!) at 12 noon when we arrived. There was only a note ''we are fully booked'' and the main door was locked so we could not even leave our luggage until the time of the check in. Terrible... We were charged for the stay before the arrival from our credit card. When complaining and showing the email sent by a Hotel Reception where stated "Payment on arrival" receptionist explained it with high season and threatened to call the police (!!!???) to solve the problem. Room was with no air flow, not possible to open the window due to the noise from the main street. Two matresses instead of one on the double bed. Bathroom separated from the room with a curtain. bad smells inside the rooms.The rooms weren't clean and they didn't change bed sheets during my stay there.
