  Everything was beautiful at the hotel, from the first moment we arrived and to the moment we left the hotel.   This is our second time at this Hotel but the last time, they were full (December 2005) and we had not booked!) but they kindly let us stay with their Aunt who lives in a house in the grounds. It is totally family run and they are such nice people. Very friendly, helpful and the Breakfast was great. The Bacon & eggs were superb plus a buffet o... what people say » f cold collations. The evening meal was just as good, great value and real Austrian, local menu and produce. Very rustic, pine and typically Tyrolean. - The hotel was lovely, beautiful gardens and pool. It was very well maintained and the staff were always friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed 2 great meals in the restaurant. We appreciated the setting slightly out of Salzburg.

  The situation of the hotel was fantastic with amazing views particularly overlooking Salzburg with the mountain range as a backdrop. We also loved the food and the flexibility and convenience of being able to order evening meals at a special half board rate when required. It was a pleasant change from staying in a city and the view of the snowcapped alps from the room added to the experience
