These rooms are small and NOT fancy but they're priced accordingly, clean, comfortable and better equipped than many hotel rooms selling at double the price with helpful staff. Generously equipped rooms (coffee making machin - This hotel is close to Southern Cross station which makes an airport trip so easy. The room is comfortable, very clean,mwith a heat pump. The Nespresso machine was a plus! There was little to no traffic noise. The room had a view so no brick wall to look at. The breakfast was included in the very reasonable rate, and what a breakfast! Eggs, bacon, crepes,cereals, fruit etc. on our last night we discovered their bar and restaurant with very reasonably priced delicious homely food such as lentil

  We totally enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The small loaf of bread and newspaper in the morning was a great touch. The rooms were immaculate. - Extremely clean, one of the best. Comfortable, lovely staff, and great location. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you.

  My Wife & I found the Best Western Lake Inn to be a very friendly, clean and relaxing stay for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. The area was quiet but close to many of Ballarat's attractions.   Staff is extremely helpful and lovely. The check-in time was 2pm, and I paid for the room with no view to the park. We arrived at 10am and due to low occupancy they let us check-in earlier with no extra cost and got us a room with a great view of the city overlooking the park. Paul was a delight.
