  EXCELLENT service from ALL reception staff. Clean. Easy access to trams, being location on St Kilda Road. Great cafe. Good shower (altho over bath) value for money - Location idea for us as our conference was just round the corner! Accessibility was great - plenty of tramp-carts to parts of the city

  I arrived really late at night, which was very scary in such a busy city, however when i got there the man on the desk made me feel so much at ease and was so welcoming!   Staff were very friendly. All children under 12 free using existing bedding, suitable for family with young kids on a budget but wanted to have a proper accommodation. They mistakenly charged credit card upon booking (supposed to charge upon arrival) and were a bit slow in responding to complaints but we suspected they upgraded our room and waived... what people say » the parking fee. - The hotel is located just out of the CBD in a leafy location yet still within very easy reach of everything. Staff were very helpful, one of the receptionists very quickly provided us with accurate and detailed directions to our onward location, avoiding all toll roads. Another very quickly and efficiently resolved a minor air conditioning issue.

  We had a fantastic stay at the St Kilda Quest. We loved the fact that the Apartments are so close to the all forms of public transport yet still close enough to walk to the beach, restaurants, cafes, parks, pubs and supermarkets. Friendly, helpful staff on reception. I am very impressed by the attitude and immediate response of staff on reception following the disturbance during early hours on Monday 14th November by workmen cleaning a grease trap. I am very grateful for their acknowledgment and appreciation of the inconvenience.

For the small number of hours I used the room it was exactly what I wanted. I could catch the tram outside the door and come back the same way which was great. The little bit of interaction I had with the staff was positive - they were very polite.

  The location is great, very close to most of the shopping malls. The room is clean, with all necessary facilities. The hotel is surrounded by cafes and restaurants, some of them are quite famous, which is amazing for a foodie like me. The staff in the hotel are really nice and helpful. The kitchen was small and compact and we were able to prepare and cook meals to save money. It was nice and quiet and the beds were firm but comfortable. We would have no hesitation in returning to that motel when we visit Melbourne again.
