The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and good facilities. The owner, John, was very helpful and friendly. The decor is a little tired but homely. The spa and sauna were great. It was away from the bustle of the main street, but close enough to get anywhere fast, close to the beach too. The owners were very friendly, and available to help or offer local knowledge (when asked) but were never intrusive.

filling in was very friendly and helpful. Handy brochures in reception

We really like the location of the motel as we were in Gosford looking to buy a new caravan & the motel was location right beside the Caravan Sales Yard. We went shopping just across the Rd at the Wyoming shopping center & had dinner at the bistro just up the Rd. I think the location is perfect !!. Lovely friendly staff & very clean

I liked the reception staff who were very helpful and knowing that I might arrive late gave me a phone call to ensure that I was nearby or to make arrangements with me to have a late check in. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean and it is in a quiet area which I liked but is in walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Everything was better than I expected. Paid about 70 AUD per night (2 night stay) which is excellent value. The location is the most convenient possible for business trip (better than Westin which I tried the previous week and costs 5x)

We were lucky enough to stay in the bungalow which was fantastic value and to have your own space as a young family was great. Our little boy loved seeing the sheep in the yard too. The play equipment and the pool were also big hits!
The owners are very friendly too, stopping to have a chat rather than just taking our money. Made you feel as at home as possible.

I enjoyed my time at Rydges. The food was fantastic, staff were very helpful and the ambience of the hotel felt like I was at home. The hotel was very clean and the Great Lake view was extraordinary. I would definately choose to stay at Rydges Horizons in the future.
