  The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and good facilities. The owner, John, was very helpful and friendly. The decor is a little tired but homely. The large spa bath and sauna are a bonus. The area is quiet at night so good for sleeping but is still within a short walk of the beach and town. It was away from the bustle of the main street, but close enough to get anywhere fast, close to the beach too. The owners were very friendly, and available to help or offer local knowledge (when asked) but were never intrusive.

  Comfortable room fairly central but not really walking distance to most things. The owners were away so no food was available but the person filling in was very friendly and helpful.   We really like the location of the motel as we were in Gosford looking to buy a new caravan & the motel was location right beside the Caravan Sales Yard. We went shopping just across the Rd at the Wyoming shopping center & had dinner at the bistro just up the Rd. I think the location is perfect !!.   Have stayed here 4 times now. 4 different rooms. All absolutely fine. Great location and good value for money considering the expense of Sydney CBD accommodation. Suited me perfectly. Receptionist lovely and friendly. Fourth floor rooms are nice. If you have luggage then perhaps be prepared to lug or request lower floor. Nice kitchen and lounge facilities on 3rd floor, so you can really cater - Everything was better than I expected. Paid about 70 AUD per night (2 night stay) which is excellent value. The location is the most convenient possible for business trip (better than Westin which I tried the previous week and costs 5x)

Breakfast menu choices - We were lucky enough to stay in the bungalow which was fantastic value and to have your own space as a young family was great. Our little boy loved seeing the sheep in the yard too. The play equipment and the pool were also big hits! The owners are very friendly too, stopping to have a chat rather than just taking our money. Made you feel as at home as possible.

The food was fantastic, staff were very helpful and the ambience of the hotel felt like I was at home. The hotel was very clean and the Great Lake view was extraordinary.
