I was concerned before I saw the apartment as I booked it online and sometimes its hard to believe photos etc. But when we arrived and got inside our room, we were pleasantly suprised. Beautiful view, great location and good size rooms. The apartment had everything we needed, a full kitchen, laundry and 2 bathroom which is needed when you have 5 in the family!. Location location location. I would highly recommend Manly Seaside Holiday apartments to anyone and would stay there again on my next visit to Sydney. Manly is a gem and a very pleasant ferry ride out from downtown Sydney.
all reviews » We loved the location. It was a two bedroom unit across the road from the wharf and close to all facilities. It had a fully equiped kitchen and balcony with a view. We recommend Manly Seaside Holiday Apartments to everyone. We stayed in two different apartments week 1 on the Beach.Week 2 overlooking the ferry terminal. Both apartments were large and very well equiped and offered spectacular views. Communal areas were immaculate. The staff knew we would be late arriving and rang to check our progress then stayed on until 6.45pm when we arrived. A spacious apartment, the location was great, overlooking Manly beach. Centrally located on the Corso in Manley. Great people watching . Apt. Decoration modern and ample for 3 couples. All amenities. Minutes to Sydney Ferry or windsurfing beach . The view, the location, close to sea and ferries and Manly Scenic Walk and shops, and all the places of my childhood, a trip of great nostalgia, I loved my stay!. Excellent location to beaches, town centre and transport services. All the facilities you would need are provided as advertised and worked satisfactorily..... The apartment was well situated in the Concorde building, right downtown. It was a lovely spacious unit, clean and comfortable. Close to shops and cafes. I loved the view. I was also very happy with the layout of the apartment and close proximity to transport and shops. Very comfortable place to stay :). 1.Staff, Staff and Staff Cant praise the lady there, very helpful. There was some issue with the apartment but she fixed it immediately. 2. Location. Directly facing the beach with a large balcony with tables and chairs on it. The apartment was very large and comfortable. Sydney is a very beautiful city....manly is situated betweem the sea and habour with ferries just 10 minute walk away. Seeing the beach from your bed! Parking that came with the apartment at no extra cost. Good value for money. The location was wonderful, close to shops, restaurants and attractions and the views were spectacular. The position of the unit is fantastic. internally apartment was excellent. The location, the space. location well equipped. The unit we were given was dated in it's design and decore. It was however clean and tidy and since it was only basic accommodation that we needed we were happy with it. The location was central to Manly, the Corso and Wharf. You should note that there are several unit blocks used by Manly Seaside Apartments and you won't know exactly where they will put you until you check in. The building we stayed in was not one of the buildings shown in any of the promotional photo's. Just be aware of that . Was an excellent location and there was plenty of room in the apartment. We could walk to everything. Lock up garage was great to have. The appartment was clean and located in a great location to take the ferry to Sydney. Liked the fact it was in Manly and that was it. the size of the apartment and layout. Staff prepared to try and help. The position. Location. There wasnt any dishwashing detergent or cloths to wash up and the windows in the bedrooms didnt have safety screens on them. Thought this was quite dangerous especially with having kids and being on the 4th floor, and we didnt feel comfortable opening them to let in air of a night. The apartment was a little dated but otherwise it was fine. The hot water in the shower didn't last very long either. Sydney in general is not a budget friendly city so it was great to have the option to be able to make my own meals at my apartment. Apartment week 1 on the beach was in need of some maintainace to the work tops in the kitchen and the slat blinds in the sitting room. Apartment 2 the answerphone handset was broken. When you are on the beachfront a bit of noise at the weekend goes with the territory so we are not complaining. Small obscure door from street, apt was 3 floors up with no elevator. Great for students but not so for older adults with a lot of luggage. No help. Does not resemble the picture on review at all. Older redecorated (beautifully) apartment in an old building. A few very minor quirks in the apartment e.g. the front door rattled and whistled loudly in the wind, and bedroom lights did not seem to work. There was nothing that we didn't like but some of the woodwork could do with a lick of paint!. We booked in for 4 days and unfortunately had 4 days of jack-hammering and drilling in the unit above us. Incredibly loud and annoying. Especially early( 7.30am) on the saturday morning when we wanted to sleep in. I think the management team should have been aware of this, (the renovations had obviously been going on for a while), and not let this apartment until the work finished. Lovely place spoilt by this incident!. Nothing to dislike. The mattresses were worn and uncomfortable and the apartment wasn't as clean as I would have liked. I didn't like returning home after staying at manly ....townsville is boring. A few dollars spent replacing the old broken lounge and maintenance on broken kitchen doors and replacement of broken bins etc woulda make the unit the rating it claims and value for $$. I know this isn't a hotel but to have had some tea bags or coffee saches and may be a small UTH Milk would have been helpful, but certainly not essential. There was nothing to dislike. The beds were very hard and I didn't find them too comfortable. But my overall experience was good, just this one thing. Only one set of keys made it difficult with grown up children. A few maintenance problems - bath leaked, blinds and curtains broken, stained carpet, big wardrobes but no coat hangers. garage very difficult. no soap disappointing. directions incorrect to find unit. the pillows , no hairdryer. Our unit was dated and needed a revamp. Even though it was clean and tidy. The apartment was in need of attention - smelt mouldy, door wouldn't lock, entrance very dirty, carpet in need of a good clean. The loud music below in the bar that had a live band almost every night until late. Very loud. No free internet by those high prices. Felt the apartment was tired looking with a very bad smell to it, could do with a renovation. Made it feel a bit unclean and the towels had holes in them. Apartment was tired. In desperate need of an update. Bathroom was dark, poorly ventilated and very old. Apt had no air cond and got very hot. Couldn't open windows till early hours of morning because of street and pub noises. the management claims that they do not supply initial coffee,tea and milk and also no soap as they do not charge gst this is not correct, as they charge vat what is the same as gst. Unit looking a bit tired - needs a paint. Parking difficult Facilities very basic. The lack of attention to detail and maintenance by the cleaner. Quite appalled in fact, with the amount of junk left by previous tenants, the state of the hall cupboard and junk and dust under the bed. If you worked for me love, you would be sacked. Also thought it was quite disgusting to be left all week with no clean towels or sheets. Did not like lack of water pressure in bathroom and did not like the one ply toilet paper. Surely you are making enough money to supply at least two ply!. Poorly maintained apartment. Poor furnishings (Broken, mould). The particular apartment was billed as a deluxe 3 bedroom. It was sub standard in every way and some parts dangerous. The bins were full and overflowing outside when we arrived and still the same when we left. The unit was mouldy and smelled of damp. Paint was peeling off walls, things were in need of repair etc etc We use letsbookhotel.com all the time and would recommend you not put your name to this particular apartment I am sending a copy of photos to Mainly Seaside as I spoke to them on le. Very ordinary facility not like the picture. An absolute con that you can advertise soemthing new and dish off a dirty old complex like this in a far worse position. No airconditioning and only able to open one door to alleviate the heat. Position above 3 restaurants made for noisy early mornings. Apartment needed a lot of maintance and cockroach baits in kitchen and bathrooms wouldn't go astray. Condition of apartment was terriblem, and very dated / worn. Leaking water, exposed tacs on the floor where the carpet had pulled up, not good for a todler. Stained and dirty floors. Tried to put us in a different apartment, that was a larger version of the same, but with a broken lift. The last one we had to wait 2 days for had no real drainage in the bathroom, and thus flooded if you wanted to bathe. In real need of maintenance. Toaster was filthy and there was no air-conditioning. The apartment was described as premium and I expected air-con for that. Old smelly apartment which was run down not what was shown on web when we booked room.
