  The room is a great size. The view from the 12th floor was amazing. The kitchen was small but had all the components to self cater. Buses and trains only footsteps away. We were given a late checkout 11am on request. The parking was tight but adequate - Great location. If you want to get the airport train and have suitcases then consider getting off at St James instead of Museum station if you don't want to lug cases up loads of steps. St James station is not far and has a lift. We had a very large, modern, comfortable family room with qs bed, two singles and a small lounge, dining table & chairs. The beds were really comfortable and the decor lovely. The breakfast provided was basic but all we needed.

  We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... And o... what people say » ur own bathroom :d woot woot!!!! Umm and yea it's just very friendly! - Customer service was superb. Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.

  Modern rooms, very clean. Self-contained units--everything you need to cook and do laundry. They even supply laundry/dishwasher soap daily. Excellent location, very quick walk to Town Hall and Museum (no lifts) stops. Our family of 3, including a 14 month old, had no problems traveling to/from the airport on the train with our bags from this hotel... what people say » . The cot the hotel provided for our 14 mo son was fine. He slept in it without complaint. Complementary internet was very good. 1GB/day and excellen - The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!

Awesome location, close to darling - The location is perfect! With a short walk (<5mins) you can take the light rail to central station and the bus stop with buses to circular quay (including 555) just in front of the hotel! Haymarket and chinatown are about 5 mins walk from the back door. Room is big ( for 4 pax), clean and nice! bed is extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable ( ~aud 700 for 4 nights excluding weekend)! - One was not pressured into early rising to please the housemaids. We slept in late every day as you should on holidays. The near shopping centres were wonderful as were all the food courts and restaurants.There is no shortage of entertainment near by, as well as cruises in the harbour, sight seeing etc. The staff were friendly and curtious and we will definitely be returning on our next holidays.
