  Very nice friendly hostal in the great location of Huertas district in the center of Madrid. Everything is walking distance and at the same time there is no noise from the streets.   Staff was helpful, smiley and made you feel welcome. The place was very clean and tidy all over and the decor was quite decent with nice design touches that made it feel fresh, simple and modern. My single room was just right and the shower room was nice and everything worked as it should.   This was our third visit to the Cervantes, so you can see we like it! The staff, Fabio and his assistant, are very friendly, and you are at once on first name terms. The rooms are very small, so don't take too much luggage! They are comfortable and clean, and some are very quiet. The ancient lift, recently inspected for safety, is more efficient than many in large hotels! Above, all the location is excell - The Cervantes hostel is very well situated, 10 minutes walk to the Atocha train station and 10 minutes walk to the Puerta del Sol. Staff and owner are very kind, smart people. Bed is very comfortable, claned rooms and bathrooms, which are inside the rooms.
