  Günstig gelegen und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. - Das Zimmer war sehr klein und hatte nur Ausblick in einen Innenhof, hat aber allen Anforderungen genügt. Es war sehr sauber + es wurde gut aufgeräumt. Gut finde ich den Steinboden statt Teppich (der Duschvorhang war etwas unpraktisch). Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich.

  The personal it´s very kind and friendly, and they were always very helpful, specially the owner of the hotel. He always very willing to help and advise me to move more easily around the city. The hotel's location is excellent, just 3 minutes walk from the metro station Sol and just 1 min. Walk from metro Opera. Rooms were small but cosy, and with plenty of space to put your luggage/stuff, big tables (if you want to use your laptop etc), minifridge. With the windows closed there is no problem with the noise from the busy street on which it is located.

  In early Aug 2013, it was very hot in Madrid. I arrived to find there was no aircon in any room due to a generator failure. Too tired to relocate I stayed anyway. It was a very hot and uncomfortable night. The following day, management were quick to apologize, gave the first night free and upgraded my status to include b'fast for all 3 mornings of... was die leute sagen » my stay. Bravo! If this is an indication of Eurostar policy, I am impressed. - Hotel is renovated and is very trendy, our room was good and clean. Cleaning was done well. We had no problems at all. We didn't take breakfast so cannot comment on it. It is well situated, with a tube stop just 3 minutes walk from the door. All major tourists sites are withing walking distance, Plaza del Sol only 5-7 mins away (Prado musem is about 15-20 minutes, so as Plaza Espania).
