  We stayed for 2 nights on our arrival to Madrid (into Atocha Station, which is about a 10 minute walk straight down Calle Atocha); the young, ultra-helpful staff was a pleasure to deal with - they are sharp people and we found no shortage of good English among them. Also because of this bars, there are lots of people on the street. So when you are coming to your apartment at night, you feel safd because of the crowd. So far i really enjoyed my stay in this apartment.
