  The room was very clean and had been updated. It was obvious that the owner took pride in keeping the facility well-kept. He had flower boxes on the exterior to give it a more homey and welcoming look. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings in good repair. The location made trips into Monterey very easy.   It is a classical american Motel. I got a clean room, a clean good bed and a clean bathroom. In the room there was also a small fridge.It was quiet and I slept well. The manager just told me: Do not th - The bed was so comfortable! We were set all the way to the back of the parking lot, so it was very quiet. I actually had one of the best nights' sleep I've ever had in a hotel! It was so affordable, and there was even a breakfast included! The owner/operator was very attentive, and even boiled water for me in his own kitchen and brought it out. We will definitely come back every time we visit the area.

  Honestly, the value was great and it served it's purpose. - Oakhurst is a very good location from which to explore the southern part of Yosemite and Bass lake country. The hotel is conveniently located and fair in all respects, no surprises in either direction.
