The owners are charming and willing to please. You can tell they take pride in their inn. The rooms have been remodeled recently - very clean and pretty. It was a great place if you drive to the area. It was pretty quiet even on the main road with easy access to shopping, dining, Monterey, the beach and the freeway. Very quaint, and extremely reasonably priced. Reminded me of motels I stayed at as a child on family vacations -only much prettier and much cleaner. It's really close to the best ke.
所有评语 » Seaside Inn is a small jewel nestled between a tall "Cost Plus," which serves as a great landmark, and a scenic coastline within easy walking distance. The grounds are so welcoming with an emerald green lawn and large, colorful flowering plants. The rooms are very clean, as are the sparkling white bathrooms, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. A microwave and refrigerator are provided, and there is a lovely, modern mini-cafe for complimentary morning coffee and continental breakfast. The ow. The hotel room was very clean. The tv was a relatively new flat screen and the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean too. I liked this hotel as it was well priced and suited my needs of a one night stop over however I'd definitely return for longer. There's a supermarket and some take-away restaurants across the road. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and return based on cleanliness and price. We were so pleased to see the new breakfast corner with a nice variety of "cold breakfast" including oatmeal, cereal, hot chocolate, tea, sweet rolls, etc. The place is so nicely kept up and clean and although on a big street, very quite. Thank you so much for keeping your non-smoking rooms non-smoke-smelling! Nice family that runs the place too. Fantastic value for the money. I was worried this was going to be a dive, based on the price, but it was lovely. Huge room, wonderful shower. Speedy and cheery service at check-in. Larger fridge than one usually sees in a hotel room. On a quiet street. This was a nice little place close to the highway. Clean and looks like its been updated in some areas. It would choose this hotel again without doubt. The room was fairly comfortable and the breakfast was adequate. The motel is in a great location for Monterrey area visiting and very easy to get to. But it was just right - lots of coffee with creamer and danish. There were even several large muffins. The receptionist was friendly enough to do her job however didn't go out of her way. It was merely to check me in and that's it. A bit of chemical cleaner smell was the only negative of my room. Better than any other I've stayed in at this price. Everything else was as good as or better than the $125 hotel room I had the night before!. Bit like a motel and out of the way from monterey. Parking is tight. A bit overpriced and breakfast was too basic. The most interesting aspect of the motel is how nice the motel looks and the motel sign looks really tired! Just a little freshening would make a big difference on the first impression of the motel. Rude 'welcome' from male owner. A real shame because the motel is great. I suggest stair wells could do with a makeover, to make outside look more inviting. Breakfast very limited but a new breakfast room is being built, so I hope for better things to come. The continental breakfast was poor. There WiFi was down when we stayed. Towels where stained. N/A. When I tried to check out, I rang the bell numerous times and no one ever came to the desk. Location is tight on parking space; however, I was able to get a parking spot during my stay. The parking was the only thing I really didn't like it really tight. the breakfast wasn't top-notch. a red stain on the bed sheet but that was resolve quick. The hotel is located in what looks like Costco parking lot. And there were no blankets, only thin flannel blankets. Small facility. Not for romantic or luxury staying, only for budget traveling. We stayed there 3 days the last day we didn't have our breakfast because there were no one of the staff that it had preparated. Hidden in a commercial part of town. Terrible parking for quests. No room at all. Breakfast was below average. No coffee maker. Breakfast is not breakfast, pick up coffee and a cake in reception to eat in room. A long way outside Monterey.
