  We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet. It's a motherly touch that a large resort cannot replicated (which I stayed at before arriving at Lava Tree). It's something so small as that that can change your entire vacation and make it bettter.   It was so quaint, convenient, clean and comfortable. Just what we needed for an anniversary. Traveled all the way from Oahu (Kailua) to finally see the last island we had never visited before. Did not eat dinner at the restaurant but it was quite crowded so I am assuming it is good.

  The place itself was absolutely amazing. It was very high end and well done from the fixtures to the landscaping. The yoga was a great touch and I loved the fact it didn't feel "Marriott" or "Hilton" at all.
