The owners of the hotel were first class in all departments. I would stay again without hesitation, as everything fit the bill for my requirements. The city was just a 15 minute walk, the location was quite and peaceful, the cooked breakfast was as good as I have had on my travels. All in all I would recommed this hotel to anyone. Joanne, Kristine and Andrew were wonderfully accommodating. My husband and I were travelling with our two grown up daughters, and my husband has mobility issues. The Livingstone's were very accommodating by assigning us their main floor room. It was a wonderful room and easy to move around in.
所有评语 » The Livingstone's are simply the best people that you could have the fortune to meet. They were very accommodating and most gracious. The location of St George's was a real plus - close proximity to racecourse and walk to York walls. I would recommend this hotel without question. The room was clean and comfortable also quiet but dated decor but that was overlooked due to excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. It's in a good location for walking into York.(Approx 20 mins) It is also just across the road from the race course.we really enjoyed our stay at St Georges from the freindliness of the staff and kitson the cat to the cleanliness and comfort of the room.it was close to the racecourse and handy for a stroll into york. would reccomend this hotel. The staff were fantastic. They made us feel right at home and made our Valentines weekend that much more romantic! The rooms were lovely and above all clean. The food was great and the atmosphere homlely and welcoming.The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and the breakfast was good. The hotel was fairly close to the city, with an excellent bus service - with buses every ten minutes. We did not stay my husband and i booked it for a short honeymoon for our son and daughter in law,this was done as a surprise they went to the ghost tour down the dungeons also the golden fleece they had a fantastic time. Excellent Customer service, lovely full english breakfast, just a short walk of about 10 mins into York, passing many pubs on the way would definitly stop again and recommend friends and family to stay. Great value for money! Spot on just what we wanted. Nice quiet location, just a sort walk into town. Very clean rooms with nice clean bedding, and a hearty breakfast to set us up for the day!!. I can recommend this small hotel, very friendly, rooms where very clean, a good breakfast, only a 10 min walk to town centre, the owners were very approachable, i would stay there again. Large clean rooms within a very quiet street with excellent and very friendly staff and not forgetting the legendary guardcat Kitson,worth booking in just to see him.The very friendly owners/staff, relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. The hotel is in a quiet area, but within easy walking distance of the centre of York. Very clean and well presented room, staff extremely helpful and pleasant. The hotel was very picturesque and situated about ten minutes walk from the middle of town.The staff were friendly and attentive and made everyone feel welcome.The rooms were lovely and had the choice of bath or shower. The breakfast, which consisted of ; toast, tea/coffee, juice and a cooked or continental breakfast, was superb. Ive never had bacon that good. I couldn't fault it in any way. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was impeccably clean and spacious. The breakfast very tasty and cooked to your own requirement, the full English was scrumy ! Also offered a breakfast in bed option at no extra cost, which is very nice if you are not good at getting up. Also the hotel is genuinely only 10 minutes to the city walls and 20 minutes to the Minster.The way we were made welcome as soon as we stepped into the hotel.Staff are very friendly, and they made sure our stay wascomfortable. Breakfast is fantastic, we couldn't anything more wellinto the afternoon. Will put this hotel in my diary for futurestops. Thank you all. Room was huge, we ended up with family room for just two of us. Breakfast was gorgeous, had breakfast in bed on the first morning which was not too much trouble for the hosts. Kitson the cat (the boss) is a must see.People friendly. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Close to places of interest and to walk into town and eat. Able to park the car. Breakfast was very good quality and plenty. Have stayed there previously. Ideally placed for city centre and all attractions and places of interest.Lovely couple, excellent stay. They were very happy with the hotel the staff basically they were happy with everything. he towels wear hard and theirs only one hair dryer for the whole hotel. Leaving it!!!. The shower head did not work on the taps in the room with the bath. The bathroom was very clean but we thought the shower cubicle was a bit too small. A bit of a shame as the actual bathroom is large.Car park very tight to hold 5 cars, and if you go out to your car whendark watch out for 'dog calling cards' on the ground. Even though thereis a message beside the door when you go to the car park. For elderly people they would need to book a room on the ground floor.It was a bit pricey. One of the beds could have used a new mattress. Also, a larger shelf and a rack near the sink in the bathroom would have been nice.problem with next room playing music til 5 in morning.
