Incredibly friendly staff, fantastic building, good sized room, free parking (rare in York). Large screen TVs with dvd and a small dvd library available! The complementary chocolate, biscuits and hot chocolate sachets on arrival very much appreciated, as well as the quality toiletries. Very warm welcome. A 10 minute walk from York Railway Station and Rail Museum. Plenty of room to park car. Regular buses every 10 minutes, great for using Bus Passes, could easily have gone to Whitby, Scaborough, Bridlington or Leeds. The full English Breakfast set us up for the day.
