  The room was brilliant, we had a family room so had a sofa and tv which made it really feel like home. When we arrived Jacqui made us a cup of tea and made us feel very welcome. The bathroom looked newly decorated with a lovely big bath, shower and heated towel rail with the softest towels I've ever felt, truly luxurious! We were met by Jacqui (the owner/manager) and offered tea and delicious cake. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern and fantastic (I really loved the shower!). We really enjoyed our breakfast and appreciated the fact that a lot of the food was home produced. The family were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help and give advice as where to go in the area as we were very new to it. We would definitely recommen

Special mention, Martin and his wife were the kindest warmest and mos - Vicky was very friendly, sending us detailed directions and cooking a delicious breakfast. It was remote enough to enjoy the stars but close enough to enjoy Rye and the surrounding areas.

Would not even consider looking elsewhere for overnight stay when passing through Dover in future. 10/10
