  The room was brilliant, we had a family room so had a sofa and tv which made it really feel like home. When we arrived Jacqui made us a cup of tea and made us feel very welcome. The bathroom looked newly decorated with a lovely big bath, shower and heated towel rail with the softest towels I've ever felt, truly luxurious! The breakfast was delicio... wat mensen zeggen » us, you could taste the quality of the home grown bacon and sausages, the freshly squeezed orange juice (although not squeezed by them) was delicious - We have just spent a couple of days in this lovely B & B. We were met by Jacqui (the owner/manager) and offered tea and delicious cake. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern and fantastic (I really loved the shower!). We really enjoyed our breakfast and appreciated the fact that a lot of the food was home produced. The family were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help and give advice as where to go in the area as we were very new to it. We would definitely recommen

  I liked being welcomed in a most family-like manner by the host, Michael. The home was inviting, comfortable, and an extremely good price for such luxury.   Top notch luxury B&B with spacious facilities. We got a large bedroom, luxury bathroom and lounge + garden for the price of a standard hotel room.   It is, by a long way, the loveliest place I've ever stayed; beats every five star hotel I've stayed in, in every country, and every US State. It had the most comfortable bed you can imagine, a roaring wood-burning stove, and a lovely view. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in an English B&B, everything fresh and local and of excellent quality.

  The location is great for a week end break as it is in a remote part of Brookland. It is peaceful and calming. Obviously a car is a must which I didn't have but Martin the owner of this charming little cottage was kind enough to offer driving me to my business meetings most mornings! Special mention, Martin and his wife were the kindest warmest and mos - Vicky was very friendly, sending us detailed directions and cooking a delicious breakfast. The cottage is perfect for 2 people, cosy and clean. The shower worked well and there was a TV with some DVDs. It was remote enough to enjoy the stars but close enough to enjoy Rye and the surrounding areas.

  Very warm welcome and great attention to detail. Gary made us feel very at home and shared lots of tips and ideas for making the most of our visit. This is a lovely arts and crafts B&B. Very convenient location for Canterury, Folkestone and Dover Castle. Delicious breakfasts with plenty of choice. The home-cooked smoked salmon and eggs were a ... wat mensen zeggen » real treat. Great value for money and a real home from home. We liked to eat at the nearby Fox pub for evening meals - just a 15-20 minute walk away. - Outstanding on all fronts. We Stayed for one night only on a short weekend trip to Dover to visit castle and cliffs. Gary was very welcoming, and offered advice on where to eat locally and where best to visit cliffs and was a perfect host. Superb choice for breakfast and lovely clean and tidy guest house. Would not even consider looking elsewhere for overnight stay when passing through Dover in future. 10/10
