It is, by a long way, the loveliest place I've ever stayed; beats every five star hotel I've stayed in, in every country, and every US State. The staff, Sarah and Sarah, are so friendly and enthusiastic, the rooms are gorgeous (I had a deluxe room; enormous and beautiful room, with large bathroom - even nicer than the pictures, which is quite something!), overlooking beautiful lawns and part of the Canterbury countryside that is so picturesque. 所有评语 » This large B&B has several choices of accommodation, and we stayed in the cottage at the top of the yard set apart from the other buildings, which was very romantic. It had the most comfortable bed you can imagine, a roaring wood-burning stove, and a lovely view. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in an English B&B, everything fresh and local and of excellent quality. We absolutely loved the very personal and kind reception by the owners, starting from the driving instructions we received upfront, to the wonderful English breakfast. The location is great, just a few minutes driving from Canterbury and very quiet, sort of a green paradise. It was a perfect stay. Highly recommended! Great, quiet rural location yet only a few minutes away from the City Centre. We have stayed twice in the last 3 months whilst visiting our daughter at Uni. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast and fantastic hospitality from Sarah (owner) and her small team. Well first of all we've found the friendliest staff in the world and the rooms are very clean and mentained, i'm not exagerating as I travel a lot and this 2 things are very important to us, also the area is magnific we stayed 2 times already and planning to go back soon. there was a room with a jacuzzi available and we were 'upgraded' to it...it was fantasti! the owners were delightful people (mainly Sarah, the daughter), who went all out to help us...lovely breakfast, pretty room...thoroughly enjoyable... Stopped by for one night on the way to France. Brilliant way to start my holiday. A bit of luxury, quiet, even though close to Canterbury. Very attentive family. Appreciated their kindnesses. very clean and comfortable. the breakfast the next day was lovely. the farmhouse was very near to city centre but we also felt as if we were in the countryside. i would stay there again. The location was fine, very much country location close to the centre. Checking out - alas, I only gave myself enough business in Canterbury to be able to stay two days!. The cottage is an eco-friendly 'glamping' cabin, so it couldn't have a power shower, but that is hardly a criticism!. I can honestly say that I liked everything at Iffin Farm and will be staying there again. The road to get to the place is quiet dangerous Very narrow. No Wi Fi -at least it didn't work!. No Shower in the room and the towels were still in the room from the previous guests. Just that we didnt stay longer!. No desk in the room. WiFi was a bit slow. Nothing!. dirty electric cettle and cutlery. no welcome from hosts. flies in muesli bowl (no cover on it). open bottle of apple juice at dinner which has already gone sour (next morning we tried another bottle, this juice was sweet). small ensuite. no fresh fruits at breakfast. hosts should take care of more cleanliness (breakfast and accomodation). We stayed in the little cottage in the back and it wasn't as clean as i would have liked. It needs some 'refreshment' and general tidying... Room was a bit dated. No shower. The room was in fact a shed at the top of the garden, a very well done shed but no way was this worth £97. I expected a suite as described but this was one room with a kitchen area and an electric shower which flooded the floor.
