  The hotel is ideally situated near the seafront and shopping centre. The owner was very nice and welcoming and the hotel and the room was very clean and homely.   When we booked online we were given a room within the guest house. Shortly afterwards we were called and offered an apartment as the guest house was actually full. When we arrived we were given keys to a ground floor flat opposite the guest house. It was lovely and spacious. The staff were very nice, Although we were told online there was no break... 别人怎么说 » fast and that we had to vacate the room by 11am. That was'nt the case. Breakfast was included and we were left until midday. No complaints from me. Pe - explained my uncle who was travelling with me, was 86 and not so mobile, we were put in a new addition to the guesthouse a ground floor flat. Clean, 2 double bedrooms, lounge , kitchen, and an excellant full english breakfast, best £82 spent in a while. A Davidson. p.s our 4th or 5th stay.

Full english breakfast was delish, and as t - The proprietors were extremely helpful and friendly. A problem that arose was sorted out without any drama. The breakfast was very good with a choice of toasts, jams etc which could be done to your own taste. I asked for a non butter spread which was quickly produced. I would be happy to return and take my family. There was a quiet and professional air about the staff and accommodation which was welcoming and relaxing especially as I was visiting for a difficult family matter.

  This was our second stay and we stayed for 5 nights. The welcome breakfast pack was excellent and we self-catered for the duration of our stay. The lodge was extremely comfortable and we slept really well because it is so quiet and the bed very comfy. It's a perfect location for exploring both Essex and Suffolk. We loved the dual aspect of having a breakfast provided and then able to self cater during the day. This lodge was exceptional value for money. We are already planning our next longer stay.
