  We arrived to Stansted well after midnight so it was great to be able to just walk to the hotel and not worry about transportation. It really was just a few minutes walk, just as they promised. The room was very comfortable, clean and pretty.   We recently stayed here for a wedding in Royston. It was further out than we were expecting and the Hotel staff were very helpful with recommending local cab firms and offering to book for us. The accommodation was immaculate. Beautifully decorated: individual and chic. The bar and restaurant staff were knowledgeable, helpful and had a sense of humour. It was our first visit to The Lion but it most certainly be our last. Absolutely perfect.
