The hotel has a great location for those wanting to explore the city, especially good for the shops with Cabot Circus a 5 min walk away! Staff couldnt have done more to make our stay! We were going to the Hippodrome and so I had sourced this hotel as being particularly close. I am a single mother with two children and so I had booked a family room, but I never expected it to be as roomy and practical as it was. With three beds, a decent sized bathroom, a tv and coffee facilities all being on a floor which was clearly marked "QUIET ZONE" I was so impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel - given the budget room price, wasn't expecting too much, but a very well-presented hotel. Room was large and comfortable, good bed. Staff helpful and professional, good bar and restaurant. Very convenient location for shopping in particular - across the road from the Cabot Circus shopping centre and the rest of Bristol's main shopping district. Cinema, restaurants etc all very close. Train station 10 minutes' walk.

I chose a serviced let for a change to staying in a hotel. The accommodation was comfortable and everything you needed was available. It was clean and spacious just as in the photos, I could cook a meal when I wanted and most important what I wanted. We walked through the door to be greeted with mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly and festive welcome to us and our grandchildren.
The member of staff who checked us in understood our needs (my husband is disabled) and those of our grandchildren and put herself out to ensure these needs were met. The hotel was busy but we felt we were treated as if we were the only guests. We expect Mariott's to be comfortable and clean,

My wife was taken suddenly ill during the stay and was admitted to hospital. The sympathy, support and general kindness of the staff at the Guesthouse was quite amazing, making our situation so much easier and we shall always feel grateful for this. Apart from that, the room was very comfortable, the whole place was clean and well kept and the food was excellent. The welcome which we had even before our problems began was second to none and I would certainly stay there again.

I had a "small one bedroom" and it was perfect - extremely comfortable bed, kitchen was very well equipped, bathroom clean and contemporary, and it was so quiet. A wonderful oasis. Excellent buffet at breakfast - never seen curried chickpeas and basmati on a breakfast menu before, very very nice indeed. The cook was standing near the buffet and we had an excellent chat about vegetarian foods. The hotel is an excellent hotel overall, and the room was spectacular. The staff were super professional and friendly, and I greatly enjoyed it. The bar and lounge area were a great place to meet colleagues or to just sit and read quietly.

Fantastic hotel, one of the best I've stayed in. Staff couldn't
have been more attentive and professional - little touches helped like
giving my son a kiddie's pack on arrival and a voucher for room
service milk and cookies. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and
again great service and staff were really knowledgeable about the area.
Pool and spa were immaculate and really nice, room was good size, well
furnished, everything worked. It was a super hotel.
