The hotel has a great location for those wanting to explore the city, especially good for the shops with Cabot Circus a 5 min walk away! Staff couldnt have done more to make our stay! Rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfortable and i really liked the bathroom. Rainfall shower and bath was brilliant. -

We were immediately greeted with friendly, efficient staff. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Delicious breakfast - enough to set us up for a day's sightseeing! We were going to the Hippodrome and so I had sourced this hotel as being particularly close. I am a single mother with two children and so I had booked a family room, but I never expected it to be as roomy and practical as it was. With three beds, a decent sized bathroom, a tv and coffee facilities all being on a floor which was clearly marked "QUIET ZONE" I was so impressed and would definitely stay here again.

The welcome and the staff were excellent, very helpful, efficient and friendly.The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean and of a good size although somewhat cool. Excellent hotel - given the budget room price, wasn't expecting too much, but a very well-presented hotel. Room was large and comfortable, good bed. Staff helpful and professional, good bar and restaurant. Very convenient location for shopping in particular - across the road from the Cabot Circus shopping centre and the rest of Bristol's main shopping district. Cinema, restaurants etc all very close. Train station 10 minutes' walk.

I chose a serviced let for a change to staying in a hotel. The accommodation was comfortable and everything you needed was available. It was clean and spacious just as in the photos, I could cook a meal when I wanted and most important what I wanted. The sofa was modern and comfortable.The staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. -

It was good to have free wi-fi too and secure, gated parking. The location was good for getting out of Bristol to visit other places, eg we went to Cardiff and Bath.

Stayed 18-20th July 2013 room 210. Had a great stay here. Arrived a bit early at 12.30 but there was a room ready so we could check in. The parking is right next door in the NCP multistorey carpark. Unfortunately the carpark lifts are out of action but that's NCP's fault. The hotel validate your parking ticket so it only costs £12.50 /day. The ro

We walked through the door to be greeted with mince pies and mulled wine and a friendly and festive welcome to us and our grandchildren.
The member of staff who checked us in understood our needs (my husband is disabled) and those of our grandchildren and put herself out to ensure these needs were met. The hotel was busy but we felt we were treated as if we were the only guests. We expect Mariott's to be comfortable and clean,

We selected Brooks on the basis of their location in the heart of Bristol and value for money.
Staff were unfailingly professional and friendly, prepared to go the extra yard in service.
The décor is clean and sharp, relatively minimalist but still comfortable.
Bedroom was small which suited a short stay but may prove too petite for a longer stay

My wife was taken suddenly ill during the stay and was admitted to hospital. The sympathy, support and general kindness of the staff at the Guesthouse was quite amazing, making our situation so much easier and we shall always feel grateful for this. Apart from that, the room was very comfortable, the whole place was clean and well kept and the food was excellent. The welcome which we had even before our problems began was second to none and I would certainly stay there again.

The location, and that I reserved a river view room on line and actually received one! The buffet breakfast was excellent. - Very spacious room, extra large double bed which was extremely comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean.

Really liked the 'home from home' feeling, and although small,
the apartment was really well designed and comfortable with all
you'd need for a City break or business trip. In a great position
with a short walk to everything Clifton Village has to offer. Good value

I had a "small one bedroom" and it was perfect - extremely comfortable bed, kitchen was very well equipped, bathroom clean and contemporary, and it was so quiet. A wonderful oasis. And of course the location, in Clifton, is a stones throw away from all the shopping one needs. The host could not have been more accommodating and helpful.

Excellent buffet at breakfast - never seen curried chickpeas and basmati on a breakfast menu before, very very nice indeed. The cook was standing near the buffet and we had an excellent chat about vegetarian foods. The hotel is an excellent hotel overall, and the room was spectacular. The staff were super professional and friendly, and I greatly enjoyed it. The bar and lounge area were a great place to meet colleagues or to just sit and read quietly.

Fantastic hotel, one of the best I've stayed in. Staff couldn't
have been more attentive and professional - little touches helped like
giving my son a kiddie's pack on arrival and a voucher for room
service milk and cookies. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice and
again great service and staff were really knowledgeable about the area.
Pool and spa were immaculate and really nice, room was good size, well
furnished, everything worked. It was a super hotel.
