It felt like they are my family. Always being there when I needed them, and not seen a - Grey House is adjacent to a Hungry Horse Public House called the Travellers Rest, which is great for good food at reasonable prices. The room I had was clean and tidy and everything worked properly, ie the Kettle, Television, Central Heating etc. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic and was ready in no time at all. Mike the proprietor, cooked breakfast himself. All staff were very friendly and treated all guests respectfully. A great Guest House where I would definately stay again

  We selected Brooks on the basis of their location in the heart of Bristol and value for money. Staff were unfailingly professional and friendly, prepared to go the extra yard in service. The décor is clean and sharp, relatively minimalist but still comfortable. Bathroom is again a tight fit though adequate with l - My wife was taken suddenly ill during the stay and was admitted to hospital. The sympathy, support and general kindness of the staff at the Guesthouse was quite amazing, making our situation so much easier and we shall always feel grateful for this. Apart from that, the room was very comfortable, the whole place was clean and well kept and the food was excellent. The welcome which we had even before our problems began was second to none and I would certainly stay there again.

  We were attending a concert at the nearby Castle & chose it as it was so close. The staff were all excellent especially the breakfast staff who were friendly even though they were busy.
