Mike and Pauline are amazing and kindest people. Take a great pride in theirs little hotel. Breakfast Is brilliant, room is freshly decorated, clean, pleasant, has everything necessary and has separate entrance! Complete privacy :-). As a new driver, I've got lost in a Bristol, and, on the middle of the night Mike found me and escorted to the hotel!!! They kept helping and helping me during the all my stay!! It felt like they are my family. Always being there when I needed them, and not seen a.
所有评语 » Grey House is adjacent to a Hungry Horse Public House called the Travellers Rest, which is great for good food at reasonable prices. The room I had was clean and tidy and everything worked properly, ie the Kettle, Television, Central Heating etc. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic and was ready in no time at all. Mike the proprietor, cooked breakfast himself. All staff were very friendly and treated all guests respectfully. A great Guest House where I would definately stay again . Really nice, cozy place, amazing hosts and wonderful breakfast! We had two rooms booked (1 and 9) and it was the best place I've ever stayed :) Didn't want to get up in the morning.. Real home feeling, pretty backyard, private parking, clean and beautiful place to be. Pauline and Mike were extremely friendly, you can have the breakfast at anytime you want (just make sure you will be able to eat everything..:). The Grey House was the best b & b we stayed at during our trip! Mike and Pauline went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful, including recommending places to visit, the best ways to get there, and a full hot, made to order, English breakfast to get you going! The Grey House was a perfect location as a central hub for seeing Western England and Wales. I recommend it!. Friendly welcome, encouraged to use all available facilities. Superb choice if you are working in Filton, many regulars stay here which tells you the owners are doing something right. Amazing value for money; the owners took very good care of me for the short stay that I had, the room was clean, comfortable, cosy & warm - everything you need in a B&B on a quick overnight stop. I'll definitely look to stay here again the next time I work in Bristol. The room is nice and comfortable. The location is great if you have a car. The Breakfast is the best we have ever eaten of all the B&B we ve gone. Above all, the owners are lovely: they gave us very good advoces about what we should visit and it totally worth it!. The whole aspect and situation were extremely nice in a town location. I loved the annexe which was well created and spotlessly clean. The owners were everything you would want 'mine hosts' to be. Lack of shampoo in the bathroom. couldn't find a shaver point in my room - perhaps I didn't look hard enough! Bedside lamp would have been helpful rather than just main & wall lights. WiFi coverage weak and/or intermittent. World's smallest basin in the en-suite, but that was the only negative. Struggled to get the shower to work but eventually didn. The en suite was a trifle small and the tiny wash basin overflowed from the tap when it was running onto the floor. I prefer baths to showers but that;s a personal taste. While it's easy enough to wait your turn to shower, and showering can tie up the bathroom facilities for quite some time, it isn't quite so easy to wait for the toilet.. It would be nice to have extra toilet facilities. What's not to like!. The location is a but far away and it takes round 40 minutes to the city centre by bus. My room was next to the shared bathroom so woken up a few times. No ones fault but I'd book a different room in future. The location is not really good, if are without car, because it`s not so close to the centre and the principal areas. Nothing. Was a bit disappointed that my room only had a skylight rather than a window - but other than that I have no complaints. nothing all was very good. leaving!!!!!!!!!!. Too hot! (heating on and 21 degrees outside!) Very flat pillows. Bit difficult for car parking if there is no room left at the B&B premises. Even more double yellow lines now than there were when I last stayed there in September 2012. Everything was great so nothing to dislike. Very noisy and no hair dryers. Location is sub-optimal for someone working in Bristol, although OK if travelling by car and coming off the motorway. Ideal for people visiting Filton or other north of Bristol locations. Having to leave at the end of our break. Nothing - it was good all round. a little bit far from the city centre, but there are buses and trains to patchway. Shared bathroom (but was expected). Shared bathroom and finding a used towel on the bathroom floor along with used underwear/shirt left in the bathroom. nothing.
