Though I booked standard room for 3 days long ago,when I arrived later afternoon,I was told the Hotel was fully booked. But the managment have arranged me a very good 2 Bed new apartment near Esplanade at no extra cost.I have minimal contact with the Hotel staff but that was courteous and friendly. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food choices were great. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall through the staff were what made the stay, they honestly were the most lovely people.

Classy Dinner friendly staff in restaurant but expensive. Comfortable, clean and very convenient location. Staff were very friendly helpful. Pool and gym. Restaurant does great mix of modern european and asian food. I would definitely stay again. Helpful friendly staff, good size rooms clean and well serviced. Bar, pool and Restaurant all good. Central location close to all Darwin has to offer. Excellent staff. Facilities were also great. Price was reasonable. Perfect location just a couple of minutes to the strip mall & centre of town. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious. Restaurant had great food and good wines, opened on to the pool and was very relaxing. Great price for the area!. The staff on the front desk and bar were great. Very friendly and helpful to a Victorian who had never been to Darwin!. Great location in the middle of town, easy late check-in with 24hr staff, clean and comfortable rooms, no problems. Pool and restaurant area is pleasant as are most of the staff. Location is good. A short walk from the busy part of Mitchell Street, slightly longer to Darwin Convention Centre (20 mins). The hotel layout in regards to the rooms, can result in hearing other peoples doors opening and closing throughout the night. Annoyed by management ignoring four emails when trying to confirm booking as a previous booking through another agency was a disaster. No problems with letsbookhotel.com and H.Hotel could easily confirm with standard response. Counter staff lacked friendly greeting and ignored people when returning. Make up room too late in the afternoon. Room for improvement here with experience. There is no Computer or Printer facility for checking in for flights or organising tours etc. Pool location beside restaurant with a glass dividing wall. no shade near pool and have to walk through restaurant or through lobby to access the pool. No change rooms either. Lack of information on whats availble in the hotel (i.e- where the gym was located). Probably would stay near the water next time as there is no view. Needs Free WIFI. Only one chair in room. Bedroom needs comfortable armchair for reading. A free facility for printing boarding cards is usual in a hotel and should be included. Extra blanket should be available in room. Having to pay extra for WiFi. Had a fire alarm during breakfast with the evacuate siren sounding. Staff stood around in utter confusion and then continued with their work. Worrying if it had been a real fire instead of a false alarm.. Staff seemed new, slow check in Pool directly outside the restaurant. Noisy- rooms are not very soundproof. Can hear doors closing and noises from either next door,outside or above. The air conditioner, although new, sounded as it was either filling up with water or being emptied on a regualr basis - which kept me awake on both nights. The temporary car parking was inconvenient, but hopefully that should be resolved soon.Menu read well. Staff did not try to organise connecting rooms for us, despite finding from cleaning staff there were some available. It had no parking as it was still new and we had the worry of having to be aware of the timed parking meters that we had to use and for overnight we had to pay the council parking station next door but we could not pay before 5pm as that's when the meter ticked over so we had to be back and stand and wait for it to turn to 5pm as we could have got a fine for overstaying the payed limit we used for day time. That was the only annoying thing. lacked small table and chairs in room. Given key to a room which was occupied. Staff a little hard to understand which I think was the cause for the room mix up. No airconditioner control in the room. We had to pay for a full continental breakfast to each have a bowl of fruit with yoghurt and muesli, and when we wanted an espresso coffee we had to pay an extra $4.50 each!!! Not good value. Had a number of issues. Upon arriving to hotel at 7pm the room allocated had not been made up from previous occupant. After being re-allocated another room the internal connecting doors were unlocked with occupants in the next room able to access our room. A number of the issues were down to the housekeeping department. After check out I was overcharged for the room also which was however resolved quickly following communication with the hotel reception. no view car park access poor. nothing all was good. nothing really all good. No hygenic wipes fo the gym. I booked on letsbookhotel.com in mid May for a late June/July stay requesting higher level, but we were given the first floor. I feel this was done because with the website you do not pay until checkout. This was very disappointing and I would probably not use letsbookhotel.com again in case this might happen. late night fire alarm. The only thing I didnt like was that when I first got to my room there was a half finished bottle of water in the fridge. The bedroom was described as a deluxe King Room and came with the price tag you'd expect for such a room ($200). In reality the room was spartan in design without a desk or table to work on, and the view was onto a construction site. The hotel wifi was down for 3 of the 6 days of my stay and the staff seemed to either lack training or the necessary resources to attend to the needs of guests. Disparity in the cost of the stay, different from that quoted by letsbookhotel.com from the receipt given to me and different from that on my Visa card charge message. This in spite of failure to connect on Internet when they started charging for it. Hair dryer has to be requested. Need more sound proof for room doors though the windows are ok. The food was cold at breakfast and at dinner on 2 separate days. The staff were informed on this at the time but little was done.We mentioned this again to a staff member when we were checking out, and I did expect at least an email from the manager - no email was forthcoming. cost. single beds disorganised staff no mini bar / water poor lighting. checked into a room with someone already in the room. (poor security checks). No internet service. Looked out my window at a wall which was part of a building site. Lacked any type of atmosphere, very clinical. Sydney hotel in a tropical town - strange combination. I had to pay fr parking when promised free No room to sit and ave a drink f not at bar.
