I stayed for a week, the staff were very very helpful either about the public buses (bus stop next door) or activities to do, really nice and quiet in the evenings. Queen Bed was very comfy and a/c worked a treat. room very very clean, great set up, very spacious. The Kitchenette was fantastic with full size oven and fridge all my tours were pick up and drop off and found it very convenient to the supermarket a block and half away. walked around Darwin on the day of check out was allowed to le.
所有评语 » we stayed two nights at this hotel. we got a specious apartment with a spa bath. everything was spotlessly clean. well equipped kitchen, and a good a/c. there is even a secure guest parking. the staff was very ftiendly and extremely helpful. location is also very good. a walking distance to mitchell street but not too close to hear the noise. even the supermarket is around the corner. and price was just right to give a great value for money. absolutely recommended. The close proximity to Darwin City and also a short drive to Cullen Bay, Mindil Beach, Fannie Bay and the excellent East Point reserve with Lake Alexander. Great for the sunsets. With the air conditioning not working in our room the lady in charge even offered to help us move our substantial amount of luggage (we were there for 8 days) to another room at 9.30pm. Staff were excellent and the room was serviced daily. Liked everything. Pleasant staff, position close to town for shops, balcony for a smoke. Terrific pillows, comfy mattress, cool sheets for Top End heat. Kitchen good in apartment. Stayed 2 nites, travelled 5 nites away & ret'd to this hotel for final 2 nites & felt like 'coming home'. A really nice hotel to suit everyone at affordable price. I liked how there was a separate main bedroom and that there was secure parking. I also liked that the room was serviced daily. I also liked having a balcony. Darwin is very over priced during dry season but this hotel at least offered features that other hotels do not. We travel to Darwin regularly and will likely stay here again. Overall it was a lovely stay. staff was really helpful and friendly. housekeeping was above and beyond. We had a slight problem with the a/c the first night and they gave us an upgrade for the rest of our stay. we didnt expect that much but it was a nice surprise. Overall its a nice spot if you wanna get away from the city centre. Friendly, patient and helpful staff- spacious rooms- close to city but not too close- very quiet- cool well sited pool-easy access to buses and within walking distance to city and shops- very inexpensive Indian restaurant for breakfast and meals. We felt at home. I would tell my friends to use this hotel. The apartment was clean and comfortable, we both commented on how comfortable the beds were and pillows too! All the staff were friendly, helpful and obliging. It was very quiet and the pool was very refreshing. I liked having our own balcony and it was great value for your money. if you are looking for a for value fully self contained apartment this hotel would be hard to beat. It has everything from corkscrew to airconditioning. The inroom spa was excellent, as was the salt water chlorinated swimming pool. Easy walk to main shops. Very helpful staff. Rooms were spacious and airy. Staff were friendly and it had a welcoming feel and open as doors opened onto the balcony. Easy access to rooms, car park and the street. Wasn't sterile like some hotels where everything is enclosed and it takes forever to get up to your room. Our room was comfortable and clean, with the kitchen quite functional and the balcony handy to catch evening breezes. It was good to be able to relax by the pool downstairs and have off-street parking included. Location is within a block of 3 hire car depots. Staff were helpful, Anna in particular gave us helpful information. Mellie also. It was clean and it all items required to prepare a breakfast and a light lunch. Within walking distance to main tourist attractions. Public bus stop nearby. Fresh towels ever day were amazing, the bed was comfortable, kitchen was decent, the hot water was luxurious and there was plenty of space to move about and not feel penned in. All in all, a wonderful stay with exceptionally friendly staff. Very helpful staff, fully self contained unit with nice pool and balcony. Walking distance to the city and bus stop right outside hotel to Thursday night markets, Cullen Bay and city area. Full size fridge and kitchen facilities. Good location. We actually nominated them for the nt Superdeeds awards, that is how impressed with everything we were. Clean and bright space with plenty of room. Loved having 3 fans, it meant we didn't always have to have the airconditioner operating. Bed was very comfortable. Pool was a good size. Room was serviced everyday. The location is very convenient to the city and public transport. We were made to feel welcome and when our grandchildren came to visit they were also made to feel welcome and were allowed to swim in the pool. Good location and price in a town where accommodation cost is higher than you expect. The suite had all basic necessities. Hotel has a nice small pool - essential in Darwin. My apartment at The mediterranean hotel was very comfortable and spacious with a large fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. There is a very nice pool in the centre of the hotel. convenient location for me, always clean and well presented, bed really comfortable and linen newish, quiet room, kitchen facilities good to have. The pool looked nice but I didn't have a chance to go it. Everything was great nice size room and within waking distance to shops and on a bus route if needed. Reception staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Rooms were clean and comfortable. we would stay in this hotel again as we found every thing very satisfactory for our stay in Darwin. Friendly helpful staff. didnt like the garbage truck at 5.a.m, but they have a job to do. and being right above the sliding security gate was kinda annoying again early hrs in the morn but these things happen. tv could've been a little bit bigger and maybe on a different wall. cane chair not all that comfortable, mainly sat on the spare single bed, but know I'm probably just nit picking. nothing not to like. There were no negatives. The wi-fi system (charge applies) requires a room near the antenna to be efficient. I was told the current system is to be replaced very soon. Wall dividing bedroom with living area did not extend all the way to the ceiling. Toilet was in main bed room. (Minor) No fly screen meant that the balcony sliding door had to be closed, rather than have fresh air as an option to air conditioning at night. For a family with a couple of children I can see some inconvenience caused resulting from the only toilet being in the master bedroom. For us just two people, no problem. Not too sure if it's normal for spa water to be brown, but that could just be the Darwin water. Either way, it wasn't the end of the world. Some of the oven top coils in our kitchen didn't work, but that's okay. Had concerns about main bed being in the same area as bathroom but it wasn't a problem for us as two single friends. It was still suitably private. No complaints. would have preferred a tv that was bigger and floor level instead of high up a bit bigger couch would be better to relax but we were happy to be staying there. They could have supplied just a few cheap containers in the kitchen for putting leftovers into. TV sound was terrible and couch wasn't very comfortable. Being asked to pay for our 3 night stay before even seeing the room. When I asked to see the room first the staff gave us the key and we moved in and then paid when next going out. TV is small and high wall mounted. It was a perfect end to our trip. Tv a bit small. Launderette rather expensive ( 8 dollars to wash and dry ) and location a little far from main sights , given that the heat of darwin makes longer walks tiring. not much! I saw one cockroach though and not keen on the central pool really, as it is overlooked from all levels. Better ventilation around pool area would be nice but probably hard to do much about it. Tv was small. Small Television and that is about all. Lazy as I am would have liked an extra lounge chair in the room. Nothing. The lift was a worry, made funny noises when it stopped at the floors. A bit far from shops. Lack of availiable accomodation and gust maybe a little less rubbish on the streets. Don't eat at the adjoining restaurant the Indian place the food is awful !. Nothing.
