  A couple of things could do with a lick of paint here and there, but we were entirely satisfied with our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, very hot water and lots of it.   Great value, and brilliant location. Certainly not the 6 star. Not 4 star. Not flash.. Budget accommodation.. but I was after somewhere to stay for 6 days while I attended a course. I needed a clean bed & room, a fridge, a microwave, running water... And I had supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and the city next to me. And the hosts were genuinely friendly and happy - The staff were very friendly, the beautiful old Queenslander building was in a great spot to easily travel to the city centre, it's a nice stroll down to the Brisbane river to catch the river cat, the local bus stops right outside the front gate, local shopping and dinning was close also, there is a very neat little cafe' across the street, we only had coffee but the food looked amazing, we would stay here again...
