  A couple of things could do with a lick of paint here and there, but we were entirely satisfied with our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, very hot water and lots of it. Nice to sit on the balcony. Everything we needed was within a short walking distance. Docs, hospitals, banks, eateries, and the city. Even the in-house entertainment on Wednesday night was more interesting th - Price, undercover free parking, continental breakfast included, close to all city amenities, cleanliness, comfortable bed.   We liked that it was close to our destination for a Saturday night wedding. We were very appreciative of Rupet who did reimburse us for parking at Novotel and received a car spot.   Ideal for my one night in Brisbane. I liked the fact that the house was typically Queensland style & the girl on reception was really helpful advising me on where to go n wot2 do. 10min walk to ferry n river front. Private room was comfortable n had a tv, which felt like a luxury, pluss Free Wifi!!!.   We spend a couple of nights there, and honestly it was just an amazing time! The staff is really friendly and really helpful. The accommodation is really nice, with terrace, a nice tv plasma, a little kitchen, and a nice bathroom ( an really clean!)! Everything for a great price !   The owners of the Motel were very friendly. We were travelling with a two year old toddler, and they put up a cot for him in our room. The size of the room was ok. There was a fridge and a microwave and some dishes but no real kitchenette. The bathroom was spacious.   We really enjoyed our stay at Aabon apartments. The room was very clean and excellent value for our money.   Great value, and brilliant location. Certainly not the 6 star. Not 4 star. Not flash.. Budget accommodation.. but I was after somewhere to stay for 6 days while I attended a course. I needed a clean bed & room, a fridge, a microwave, running water... Got all that, plus hired a rental car for a lot less than others who were staying in motels wi... vad folk säger » thout transport or shops close by. And I had supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and the city next to me. And the hosts were genuinely friendly and happy - The staff were very friendly, the beautiful old Queenslander building was in a great spot to easily travel to the city centre, it's a nice stroll down to the Brisbane river to catch the river cat, the local bus stops right outside the front gate, local shopping and dinning was close also, there is a very neat little cafe' across the street, we only had coffee but the food looked amazing, we would stay here again...
