The location may not be the most attractive one in NYC but it is very convenient - fast transportation to the hotel from the JFK airport by subway; only few minutes subway ride to Manhattan. The subway station is so close to the hotel, that when you got off the station you can actually see the hotel right from there. The vicinity of the hotel seems to be quite safe and it was rather quiet in the night. We had very good view on Empire State building and Queensboro bridge from the hotel room. The

It was my daughter and son's first trip to NYC and coming by train it was a very convenient location. The staff was extremely courteous, helpful and locked our luggage after check-out so we could sightsee. The beds are extremely comfortable, room was clean and I felt very safe travelling alone with two young children (10 and 5yrs). Great location for shopping next to Soho and Broadway. Good dining options and places to go out for drinks and live music within 20min walking distance. Room was good, and although nothing exciting, it was clean with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom where all worked fine. WiFi also worked fine with good bandwidth in our room. We stayed at Four Points for 4 nights, once we landed in Newark Airport we caught the bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal (Newark Airport Express Bus), the price was $28 each return, or $16 each way. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in, but they let us leave all our cases and bags -
The staff was amazing especially Kathia and Mohammed. Kathia was the
young lady that checked us in and she was very helpful as well as kind
and considerate. Mohammed was one of the gentlemen in the lobby. He
stored our luggage so we could go ahead and go site-seeing while we
waited on our room. When the room was ready Kathia was very quick to
finish the paperwork and get us checked in. Instead of waiting for our
luggage, Mohammed told us to go on up to the room and he would bring it
up for us.
