  Location and price. Accommodations were ok. Not fancy but comfortable. Room large, bath tiny,mattress comfortable, tv new. Staff very nice. Across from abc store and room had fridge so didn't have to go out for expensive breakfasts. Restaurant "in" hotel had a delicious salad. Safe to walk at night. The pictures online did not do the hotel justice. I originally did not pick because it looked somewhat shady but when I arrived to HNL and saw what it looked like. I booked a reservation.

  The hotel is lovely, nice rooms, comfy bed. They gave us a complimentary room upgrade for our honeymoon. They are renovating at the moment so I imagine it will be more modern look in the future.   the staff were very friendly and ALWAYS said aloha every time they passed. The pool and gym were wonderful and we used them every day. I liked having the Kings and Queens market close by as we had a choice of eating establishments. the beach was protected and great for water sports. Down the beach was the Lava Lava Bar - we ate their quite a few... vad folk säger » times and had drinks at sunset. Thanks to John and NIck there for a wonderful part of our stay. - The beach was very nice. Our room would have been perfect if we'd had a full ocean view instead of a partial because of a tree. The gym is nice and clean. The concierge was helpful but be warned, it is run by Expedia so no Kama'aina rates. The nearby markets were convenient and a good option if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Several good restaurants as well as a food court are available.

  Beautiful grounds and a setting with an ambience of the old Hawaii. The restaurant is excellent. We have been to Maui many times but had not been to Hana. We booked the Travaasa Hana for one night because it was the one nice hotel available. After arrival, we decided to extend another night and that made the experience really special. The sandalwood soap, the quality of shampoo and rinse, the soap dish and toothbrush holder. The staff were exemplary!Always going out of their way to insure we had the best care possible!

  We were celebrating my father's 70 birthday and the whole family was at the Marriott (10 of us). We had 4 rooms between us at the Marriott. The rooms were so big spacious and partial ocean view was amazing. We had missed our flight leaving Hawaii and needed to check back in (we needed 4 rooms) and the staff (Tania) was amazing extremely helpful ... vad folk säger » and understanding. She assisted us and managed to give us an upgrade at the rate that we had initially paid for. We were so appreciative for that. T - We only had one problem-we did ask them to havea a look at our fridge as it froze all our contents and it took them a week and a half of our stay to do anything about it. maybe they didn't understand us ,we had to tell them like 4 times until they replaced it. Everything in fridge had to be thrown out.

  Loved the adult infinity pool and that our room was a few feet away. We had an awesome oceanfront room that was very close to the pool. The pool side staff was very friendly and service was excellent. Front desk was freindly and helpful. Maid service was good too. - Good resort to enjoy Maui more. Location is ok. The view is good.   I thought Rhisa, who checked me in was a wonderful concierge who helped me with all my inquiries and had bell hop take all my treasures up to my room! Davey, the IT person helped me get my Wi-Fi set very quickly! The room I had was in the far side of the main building where it was quite and no problems with getting around. Merry Christmas! - I was concerned about the property after reading reviews & was pleasantly pleased with everything about the hotel. Noise was not an issue as so many reviewers said. But it is a city so there will be some. We closed our windows at night & slept well. Great location. Buses out front. IHop across the street. Staff went out of their way to help whenever approached. I would stay here again.

  Loved the atmosphere on the grounds with the open-air lobby and tropical landscaping. The on-site restaurant had excellent food and a view of the pool and ocean. The tiki torch lighting in the evenings with the sound of the conch shell and great entertainer was also very memorable. All the people in the resort were very friendly and welcoming. It was a really nice touc - We liked how close we were to the beach. I left my sliding glass door open all night so I could hear the ocean. Very soothing. There are a lot of places to stay on Maui, I feel that I stayed in the best location!! Easy to get in and out. Hwy 30 just down the street. The staff made it extremely easy to come and go. They weren't pushy, but available when you needed them.

Hotel has own bus area to the side where most of the tour buses pick up.   Very spacious, clean and comfortable space. The bathroom and kitchen were beautifully decorated and a joy to use. Maid service was good, even though we participated in the "go green Kauai" program. Parking was plentiful and just outside the door. We had an ever so small view of the ocean even though I paid for resort view. Lots of restaurants and ... vad folk säger » shopping nearby. A beautiful, sandy beach which was good for swimming or surfing was relatively close by. - Well appointed large rooms, nice bedding with comfortable and supportive mattresses, beautiful bathrooms, wonderfully supplied kitchen, washer and drier with detergent, great appliances, nice pool and hot tub, great location. Yes, the view is not great, but it is private and quiet and comfortable. It is hard to beat for the price.

  Variety of pools suited all ages. Children of all ages were well catered for and hence adults were able to enjoy the location and amenities and relax, I especially loved my visits to the adults only pool. Our room was fantastic, the beds exceptionally comfortable.   It is a historical landmark. Conveniently located. outstanding beach and view.Great for shopping I particularly love the rocking chair on the balcony and the stores , Martin Mcarthure, Vivien Westwood. - The hotel was beautiful, loved the history and the rocking chairs on the porch.   Forget the reviews about how it takes a long time to get anywhere - plot courses of shortest distances on the map they give you and only use tram / boat for novelty. Awesome bridges and islands around lagoon tend to be shortest route(s). Staff and service best I've ever seen. They all live in Hawaii - they're happy! Track charges during stay by ke... vad folk säger » eping a note of bills along the way. It isn't that expensive - and anyway you're in Hawaii! - The place is beautiful! It really is quite impressive. Lots of things to do. You really don't ever even have to leave the resort. But if you want to one of my favorite beaches Hapuna is right up the road. I also really liked the products they had in their bathroom so much so I bought some to take home with me.
