  The room was very comfortable. Beds were awesome! Location was very convenient, even though not within walking distance of most attractions.   The owners are very nice and helpful. They serve a tasty breakfast. They provide good information about Gettysburg. The house is an interesting combination of early 19th century architecture and construction that has been well maintained and tastefully updated. It's a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.   Our hosts, Brian &Tessa were fantastic. The extra attention to details, including information prior to our arrival, was much appreciated. We loved the guided tour of the battlefields (arranged by Brickhouse). It really gave us a thorough and informative perspective. And the breakfasts - truely superb. - Excellent location.   Eileen and Dennis really know great hospitality. My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and were completely comfortable and felt so welcome by these sweet people. The Chestnut Room was just the right size for 2 people and the breakfasts were amazing and plentiful. It was great to wake up to fresh pots of coffee that were always full. It was nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxi - Warm friendly and very homey. Eileen and Dennis share a lot of valuable information on Gettysburg. They share the historical history of the farmhouse. They welcome you with homemade chocolate chip cookies and coffee or tea. They prepare a wonderful breakfast in the morning and everyone shares their plans for the day and where they are from. This was my second visit and have not been disappointed either time.
