  The owners are very nice and helpful. They serve a tasty breakfast. They provide good information about Gettysburg. The house is an interesting combination of early 19th century architecture and construction that has been well maintained and tastefully updated. It's a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I liked that we could go anywhere in the house, watch TV in the TV room, the cat. The peace and quiet.

  We loved the quirkiness of a sentimental journey. The owners are lovely people. We had a massive delay on our flight so arrived very late but we were not made to feel uncomfortable. Our luggage had been left in Paris and was not delivered when promised. The owners were very helpful letting us use their Laptop and even their mobile phone when we we... vad folk säger » re having difficulties with our own. I would recommend this guest house to anyone. Ideally placed in Gettysburg. - I can't say enough great things about this place! The staff, location and value is great. I loved the room we stayed in and the kitchen area. The sitting room downstairs and the porch out front are just icing on the cake!

  Our hosts, Brian &Tessa were fantastic. The extra attention to details, including information prior to our arrival, was much appreciated. We loved the guided tour of the battlefields (arranged by Brickhouse). It really gave us a thorough and informative perspective. And the breakfasts - truely superb. - Excellent location.   Eileen and Dennis really know great hospitality. My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and were completely comfortable and felt so welcome by these sweet people. The Chestnut Room was just the right size for 2 people and the breakfasts were amazing and plentiful. It was great to wake up to fresh pots of coffee that were always full. The locati... vad folk säger » on was perfect for us because the home is a short way out of the hussle and bussle of the town of Gettysburg. It was nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxi - Warm friendly and very homey. Eileen and Dennis share a lot of valuable information on Gettysburg. They share the historical history of the farmhouse. They welcome you with homemade chocolate chip cookies and coffee or tea. They prepare a wonderful breakfast in the morning and everyone shares their plans for the day and where they are from. This was my second visit and have not been disappointed either time.
