  Actually, there was nothing I didn't like. The room was clean and fit the bill. I was in Gettysburg for a funeral at Saint Francis Xavier Church and the move in and out was quick and easy. The breakfast hit the spot and the only thing about breakfast was that the coffee was weak. I would recommend it to anyone.   I was pleasantly surprised by just about everything this budget-friendly hotel had to offer. The location is in the heart of the Gettysburg vicinity, in walking distance from shops, restaurants and historic sites. Our room was quite spacious, very clean and well appointed. A bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Pool was nice for a quick dip-all that is needed. After all one doesn't go to Gettysburg to lounge by the pool all day. :) Breakfast was good-in an old house on the property. Typical "breakfast included" fare. We would definitely stay here again

  We loved the location. It was close to the things we wanted to do in Gettysburg during our stay.The rooms are huge!! We had a double because we had our two granddaughters with us so we needed two beds. The beds are King size which we loved and they thought that was awesome!   Ted checked us in and he was very efficient and helpful. He went out of his way to make ourselves and our children happy. We were also traveling with our elderly parents and he was very accommodating , helping us get a wheelchair and changing their room, so we could be closer together. Thanks Ted for a great weekend!
