Normally, I think it is reasonably priced, but like the other hotels in the area, the prices were a bit higher due to family weekend. - Great location. Older hotel but well kept and very clean.   The staff were incredibly friendly. They even were most helpful about stowing our bikes two nights. We were very pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced, and good, the food and drinks in the bar were. We could not have been happier with our choice.   I stay at this hotel often because its a good place to stay. This time there was a snow storm during the night and I did not have a snow brush. The young lady at the desk said it was no problem and supplied me with brush and scraper.   Ted checked us in and he was very efficient and helpful. He went out of his way to make ourselves and our children happy. We were also traveling with our elderly parents and he was very accommodating , helping us get a wheelchair and changing their room, so we could be closer together. Thanks Ted for a great weekend!   I was pleasantly surprised by just about everything this budget-friendly hotel had to offer. The location is in the heart of the Gettysburg vicinity, in walking distance from shops, restaurants and historic sites. Our room was quite spacious, very clean and well appointed. The pool was immaculate, and the free breakfast generous. Location can not be beat, beds are very comfy, bathrooms are spotless and breakfast was very nice. The staff was super friendly and made great suggestions on places to eat and things to see. Air conditioning worked very well with option of fan only. Friendly service. Washcloths not provided first day but were on the second day.   Actually, there was nothing I didn't like. The room was clean and fit the bill. I was in Gettysburg for a funeral at Saint Francis Xavier Church and the move in and out was quick and easy.
