  The house is a superb old English country house with great individual style. Rebecca is an excellent and friendly host. Musicians will love the piano and drums. Historic car buffs will also enjoy their collection of classic cars they are restoring. Very convenient for Exeter, including the University. - what did we like? EVERYTHING. Locally sourced produce just tastes so much better. Sure the shower was a little under powered but you get that in an older property.

  Was upgraded from executive double to executive suite on arrival which was a nice surprise. The decoration and facilities in the room were superb, one of the best rooms that I have ever stayed in.   Excellent location for visiting Exeter city centre, with lovely friendly staff. just 5 minutes walk from either Exeter St Davids or Exeter central. We just had an overnight getaway from work and routine - visiting the Quay, which was beautiful for food and long stroll, the underground passages of Exeter city, the RAM Museum, had a lovely walk arou... vad folk säger » nd the castle grounds and sat in the sun eating cream cakes outside the cathedral. - The room was comfortable and clean, and the en suite was very nice, the staff were friendly and the guest house in a good location for the city centre. We enjoyed a choice of breakfasts in the morning, overall a good stay, we would book again.

  Firstly, the location: ideal for the city centre and Exeter Central railway station (literally next door), bus station, the quay area (by the river - 7/8 min. walk) and Exeter St.Davids (15 min walk). In a side street, off the High Street, so quite quiet and noise wasn't a problem even at the weekends and being above a pub. Rooms have a different look - were modern, clean, elegant and spacious (incl. bathrooms), comfy bed, tea/cof - Excellent staff, friendly helpful arrival, even though we arrived late in the evening as we had advised, and that approach continued next day morning. Rooms were fine, and bathroom facilities good especially bearing in mind usual British plumbing standards. Location very close to high street shopping and easy to get to main rail station although a hit far with suitcases, but okay with a backpack. Easy taxi ride. Good pub atmosphere on ground floor

  Neat rooms, very spacious and had that fresh happy feeling. Clean and welcoming - lots of different teas and coffees and a luxury to choose upon arrival or before next morning's breakfast! It is close to the station and the shops and is in a safe residential area. Breakfast was delicious and perfectly prepared. I really couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.

  The place is conveniently located between the university and the city center, a step away from the main train station, even though I found out that Exeter St.Davis station is the one you'll probably use if you're coming from London.   The room was nicely furnished, clean and quiet enough to sleep well - there was some noise outside quite late from passers-by returning home as it was a Friday night, but nothing too disturbing. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient; parking was secure and close by.   The hotel room was really good, very spacious and luxurious. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel and we were very pleased with the food.   The welcome was superb, complimentary drinks mini bar and chocolate bar. I know it doesn't sound like much but those little touches really do make a stay more memorable. The staff were very helpful and the iPad they give you on check in was a superb addition. Location is great, The po - This is without a doubt one of the coolest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is efficient but laid back . The hotel had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic and the fitness facilities although not extensive were adequate. The room was well equipped and a good size (we stayed in a superior room). The bed was really comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant but the breakfast was really tasty with good choices
