  This feels very much like a hotel from the right decade. It's very modern, lots of design thoughts, rooms are small (container-sized, not a coincidence) but they feel a lot bigger than they are due to the very good design. Rooms have music, mood lightning, lightning, blinds controlled by a remote.   I am sorry to know the Watermill is under threat. It is one of very few hotels in Paisley. It is comfortable and friendly and the room clean and fresh. The location by the river was a real bonus. Effort to sustain and improve would turn this from Good hotel to a very good one.   The food was excellent and the price! £48 room only but they looked after our Mazda6 while we went on a cruise. The car parking was included in the price...bargain. - It suited our purpose,was comfortable,convenient and friendly.No problems everything went smoothly.

  The room was celubrious and the extras (golf putting and decent cafetiere coffee, walk in wardrobe) well worth it in terms of improving the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. It was so lovely and comfortable that we did not really want to leave the hotel for the concert / meeting friends that was the reason for the visit. Also easy parking right outside hotel and although the hotel sits on a main road, it was extremely quiet. And possibly since it was my birthday, we received an upgrade on the room that I had booked.

  I was there for my retirement party, arrangements were taken care of by 2 collegues, food was excellent, staff very friendly.   This hotel is great! So lovely and clean, the rooms are massive & the bed is rather comfy!! Me & my boyfriend stayed in the lorne hotel 16th February after the x factor tour at the secc.   The location is superb and the view from our room looking downriver from the village was inspiring.   First of all, I would like to say that I definitely would stay at the Glasgow Grand Central Hotel when I return to this wonderful city…especially since I travel by train. How convenient…the hotel is attached to the station. The history of this property is wonderful to read. I was impressed that Gene Kelly, Nat King Cole, Jimmy Durante, Roy Rogers ... vad folk säger » and would you believe that Trigger even stayed in the hotel. Yes, presidents, princesses and the elite of the world…slept here. I would to thank Laura - This was our first visit to Scotland and we could not have had a more phenomenal start. The front desk staff were wonderful and welcoming. Ross and AJ who staffed the concierge desk while we were there were outstanding. We neglected to complete a VIP card for these two gentlemen and should have. We were a little frazzled as we got lost entering Glasgow and Ross was helpful, provided directions to parking, looked after our bags and assisted with ideas for how best to see Glasgow. AJ directed

  The Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was very well decorated and comfortable and the price was excellent.   as we didnt arrive till later on on the saturday nite we liked that we didnt have to check out till 12 pm instead of 11 am. We will most definately be visiting again soon. - buffet breakfast was really good and hotel handy for motorway. friendly staff who could speak and understand english unlike a lot of hotels in the UK

  The staff were all very friendly and attentive. There was a mistake with the extras we had ordered and this was dealt with quickly with a deduction taken off our bill. The bed was very comfortable and although we both prefer a bath the shower was excellent. We liked the cocktail menu and range of rums. - Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Hotel was nice and quite at night so allowed for a great nights sleep. Complimentary minibar was a nice touch too.
